The Amazing two years at FORE!

A great IIP programme in Singapore, a Student exchange programme in France, Prime location, legacy, brand name, placement record is good, Kind of companies visiting the campus. The admission process was a bit lengthy but the right set to choose the best fit for the college. That included a business quiz, WAT, Extempore and PI. The faculty in FORE is great and very supportive. I wrote a research paper that was later on published under the guidance of a faculty mentor that helped me a lot to write a good quality research paper. Term exams are held quite frequently and in total 12 times exams are conducted in a period of 2 years.

My internship was in the domain of finance. The college offers ample opportunities with many recruiters, to state in figures-100 recruiters visiting campus for summer placements. The placement committee and section ensure a smooth summer selection process. Besides, summer internships, the college also offers live projects in all domains.

Campus placement is decent. The average placement offer lies between 11 to 12 lacs with the highest being 31 lacs. The number of offers made is great enough to cover a 100% placement, however, if a student wishes to have an off-campus placement, they are free to do so post permission from the placement committee.

The fees structure for different programs vary. It is also revised from time to time with changes in course curriculum and pedagogy. The institute offers scholarship to meritorious students who have a family income of fewer than 8 lacs. My loan was easily sanctioned. There is a range of banks that offer loans that are mortgage-free. My internship experience was rich of new challenges and opportunities to explore my area of interest.

Campus life is the best part of studying at FORE. There are many student committees and groups which are very active. We also receive newsletter s and articles from all the special interest groups in the field of marketing, finance, operations, information technology. The small campus offers the opportunity of building very strong networks within the college.

The PI experience I had was smooth enough. Prior to the selection process, we were shown a presentation about the college, its placements, faculty etc. The panel of the interviewee was very learned with anticipated teaching experience of more than ten years. Most of the questions revolved around general awareness and about my role in the last company I worked in.
