Excellent College

I took EAMCET exam. Reason for opting This college with excellent infrastructure promised Campus opportunities.

The college followed the curriculum of JNTU Hyderabad. It was good enough with a focus on research. The labs were designed to support the research. The college supported each and every student who showed interest in the extra learning activities apart from the regular course. So I would say the course structure is excellent with focus on research.

No internships during my college years. During the years 1997 to 2001 IT was not that good and the opportunities for interns was nil. Even in IIT I doubt that there used to be interns during those years.

As promised it provided us with the placements. The offers ranges between 100000 to 300000 for being freshers. During the years 1997 to 2001 IT was not that good and the opportunities for interns was nil. Even in those years this college could offer placements and that is something that needs to be appreciated.

Technical paper presentations were introduced during the second year of the college. Each and every student was encouraged to participate in the paper presentations. Cultural celebrations and annual functions were celebrated every year which leaves us with good memories.

The fee is based on the JNTU standards as this college was affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad during my years of study. Every year we used to pay college fee of 2000 extra other than the JNTU assigned fee. JNTU used to charge 5000 for free seat abd 26000 for payment seat.

I don't remember that this college offered any loan facilities. Scholarships were very minimal and were offered to .5% of the population.

Campus life was very memorable and excellent. The gender ratio used to be 10:1 (male : female). Extracurricular activities were supported and students were encouraged to participate in the extracurricular activities. We used to play cricket. Other than that there were no other sports during our time.

Alumni network was excellent connecting all the people that left the college. Seniors were wonderful . Especially the first batch Mechanical students were Gems. There are no words to describe them.

Exam structure was good enough to learn all the topics in the prescribed curriculum. Well to learn extra, it is something that depends on the individual interest. Each and every professor supported the exam preparation and lab work was fully supported.
