Now they have started giving free coaching for government exams to students also who took admission in any program. 2.Admission process begins around the month of June-July or after JEE exam and the course start in the month of August. 3.There are a lot of scholarship opportunities for meritorious, sportsperson, NCC and NSS cadets, girls and backward class students also you will get government exams preparation course addon. 4.Tuition fee waiver also provided to JEE aspirants as a part of this exam for engineering admission. 5.Institution infrastructure is well furnished, library, computer lab, and other courses labs facility is provided and a lot of greenery is there, Separate cricket and basketball ground are there and also timely matches held in this college. 6.You have to undergo the process of counseling done for engineering admission also you can contact the college

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

1.Computer is a part of every job now so I chose computer science and engineering and also it was on high demand that time, by doing engineering you can excel in every aspect of life 2.Faculty-student ratio is generally 1:25 or depends on the course curriculum and availability 3.Faculties are postgraduates, some are holding doctorate and some are well experienced in their particulars 4.There are a total of 8 semesters, In a year there are 2 semester exams held in 6 month duration, 1 semester contains 2 mid-sem exams which are organized by the college but average score is added to the main exam which are easy to pass if you study well but in addition to that you should start learning coding from the first year itself and excel in that because the competition is tough, Practical exams are also there which score you if you performed well in viva and practical implementation.

Placement Experience

1

From the 7th semester onwards in the 4th year itself, students can apply to companies on their own but no specific placement drive is organized by college rather than they take the students to other colleges open campus placement drives or they just offer the professional course students general jobs like BPO or technical support. If you have that callibre and ready to migrate then you have to go outside the cities to search for specific jobs and if not you can simply apply to the jobs online or locally which require computer skills or computer training centers or simply you can just prepare for government exams and also course-specific government companies also offer internship after graduating and upto 3 years of completing the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

For general category students, it is 45000/- per semester, but if you belong to other backward categories then you get a scholarship. If you took admission after giving the entrance test i.e. JEE then you can avail TFW scholarship then fees will be 25000/- per year and financial assistance is available to the needy and meritorious student as well as a sportsperson and there is a special scholarship for girls student also in which you get a chance to study free of cost but extra charges you have to pay. The placement rate is 40% and for most of it you have to try to get a job on your own after passing out.

Campus Life

3

Annual fest namely 'QUERTH' organized during winters in the month of January and February as per schedule sometimes delayed due to change in exam pattern which include sports(javelin throw, disc throw, long jump, ball throw, basketball, badminton, chess, carrom, cricket, quiz, race, etc.) according to group division and finals are decided by dance and singing performance happened at last day of the fest. Books are available which are included in the curriculum and issued to students every month and you can also read daily newspaper in Hindi and English language, magazine is also available to read it there only. Chilled water facility is available on every floor of the buildings, wifi is only available at computer lab and hostel. A cricket tournament is organized every year which inter-college competition. Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Companies visiting campus are mostly mass recruiters along with a few product-based and mid-level companies. Most students receive an average package of approximately 5-6 LPA, while higher packages are offered to only a few top performers. Few seniors, whom I know got packages of 8.5 LPA, 12 LPA, and 19 LPA also, so basically higher packages are also offered but their competition is high and only some of them can make it up to that. A good percentage of eligible students receive the placement offers, mainlt in IT and service-based roles, but competition remains there, so one needs to have serious preparation on his or her own. Arond 60%+ students got placed every year from on-campuses placements. The placement cell provides training sessions and interview sessions from the third year onwards. Overall, placements can be considered decent compared to other private colleges in the region. Basically, after completing my graduation, I plan to pursue good placement otherwise prepare further for civil services after understanding career growth, however, this is not my final decision but could make a final one before the completion of course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The manit curriculum for mechanical is quite strong in basics and was a major reason i chose this course .It covers core maths ,mechanics ,physics ,electrical and wrskhopa ,which helps for higher studies and exams .Exams are frequent with midsems ,quizzes and endsems;sometimes the schedule feels packed, but it keeps us regular with the syllabus.Difficulty is moderate if you attend classes and practice .Still , some subjects feel outdated and there should be more software , projects and insustry oriented content.

Placement record is decent, campus drives happens regularly. If no campus placement is offered then it's obvious one has to struggle a bit more to get a decent job but I beleive the college makes the students capable enough to crack the campus placement if a person really is capable then their is no lack of resources from the college. Even if there is no in campus placement I think everyone has a plan B.
