Remarks

I choose this college because it is one of the best colleges in Uttarakhand and affiliated to H.N.B. Central University. I have studied about the colleges and found that HIT got several awards of excellence. The college reputation is very good. Students from different parts of the country are studying in HIT.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good based on a choice-based credit system that covers all advanced topics required in industries. Faculty members are highly qualified, experienced, and supportive. They help students in every possible way. They make teaching sessions impressive and interesting with advanced teaching tools.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Institute has tied up with reputed companies for providing internship to students. Experts of these companies also share professional experience and guide the student. I have been provided an internship in ONGC & my friends are doing internships in government companies such as IRD, DEAL, etc

Placement Experience

Institute offers excellent placement to students with high salary packages. The college has a placement cell that recognizes the potential of the students. Most of the students are also placed abroad. Every year institutes invite reputed companies for campus interviews. Our Alumni who have placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, etc. shared their experiences online through video conversation to motive us.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have chosen the BCA course and its fee is 49000 per annum without any extra charges. That is affordable. The annual fee is divided into semesters and we can pay it in installment also. College has provided full assistance for jobs by conducting campus interviews.

Campus Life

Campus life in HIT is memorable for the students. College provides an excellent platform to showcase their talents. Extra-curricular activities such as Annual Functions, Sports week, Christmas Eve, New Year Celebration, etc. are organized where students participated enthusiastically. Different clubs like Photography club, IT club, Cultural club are also formed to groom the students. College offers basic to advanced facilities to the students. From highly furnished classes, library, seminar halls to highly equipped labs and Wi-Fi facility.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is well equipped with normal charges. Single and double room accommodation is available according to the student need. The hostel provides a suitable environment for the study. The meal provided is tasty and hygienic.

Interview Experience

Yes, there was a Personal interview with the front office attendant and later on with the Head of the Department, it was a healthy conversation in which they have also cleared my doubts regarding college, course and I was comfortable.

The boys girls ratio is like 60:40 as per 2025.

Dislikes

There should be a basketball court.When I saw that the college doesn't have proper basketball court i was disappointed.

Placement Experience:

The college have good placement percentage and the average package of college is around 6LPA which is decent for the freshers and college provide many opportunities to students to get in the big companies like TCS

Spacious ,modern campus with well-equipped classrooms, labs,library.
faculty are described as “highly qualified and supportive”, with interactive pedagogy and strong mentorships.
Strong placement record: 86-90% placement rate,average 6-6.4LPA .

Dislikes

Notably fewer female students
Infrastructure are good , common complaint include occasional slow internet,a few dated labs,and basic hostel facility.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to participate in campus placement from their 6th semester onward(3rd year). Recruiters include major names like TCS,HCL,infosys, bajaj etc Highest package:60LPA Lowes package: 3LPA

The campus is very great and beautiful amd there are many buildings
There are many gardens in the capmus which makes it beautiful
There are different buildings for each and every department

Dislikes

There is much traffic in that area and the roads are narrow
The college timings are different everyday which makes it bad for the students

Placement Experience:

The placements in this college are average for the bca students agerage package is 2.5 lakh per annun which is very less for a fresher The placemnts are for the students with no backlog The placements start in the 4th sem end

College students are well-mannered, and the college environment is very good.
Our director is very good. He communicates very politely.
Sometimes the college organizes functions very well.

Dislikes

The college faculty in the BCA department is the worst. They actually don't know about coding, and they don't even give us proper guidance and a roadmap for our placement.
The syllabus of the college campus is very outdated.
The BCA department faculty is very rude.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about placement. But I am hoping that they provides placement in college as they say. I think average pkg of placement is around 8k per month in bca department. their is nothing to be worried about percentage for placement.

Good fee structure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite easy if you compare it with BTech. I opted for this course because it makes you a programmer and not an engineer. The faculty here is good and educated some have already done their Ph.D. while some of them don't. The teaching methods are still the same but they sometimes do use presentation.

Just another average collage

Since it is a private college, there is no entrance interview or exam. Also, merit in school is not considered for admission in the course I had applied for. The eligibility for the course was the 12th pass out from any school(Hindi or English medium). The institute does provide reservation benefits but since I fall in a general category, I have no idea about it. The admission process shouldn't be so smooth, at least a general conversation with the HOD should be made before getting into the college....Read More
