Remarks
The college has good placements, a comparatively lower intake, well equipped, green, and beautiful campus. The hostels are amazing. The professors are great and the college places a good to focus on ethics. There is the freedom to choose your subjects in the 2nd year as well as a lot of learning because the campus is vibrant and clubs are completely run by the student community. The admission process was smooth and seamless.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty-student ratio is close to 1:6. Extremely well-qualified faculty who actually put in a lot of effort to improve the classroom experience and learning for us. They are available for help and very well qualified. The course design is holistic.
Internships Opportunities
Internships offered in Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations. Some great roles and stipends, some are average while a few aren't good enough for an MBA. Cognizant, Asian Paints, GEP, Aditya Birla Capital are among the various recruiters for an internship.
Placement Experience
Good placement opportunities. Average is close to 11 lakhs Highest goes up to 25 lakhs Placements are provided for both summer internship as well as final placement. Placement training is also given. About 99 percent of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are on the higher side as compared to another tier 2 b-schools. However, the infrastructure makes up for it to some extent. ACCESS scholarship is available for a few select students. I haven't come across the existence of campus jobs so far.
Campus Life
More than 26 student-run clubs of all kinds. Quizzing, Finance, HR, Sports, TEDX, PR, Creativity, Bands and so much more. You will certainly find a club here that aligns with at least one of your interests. Festivals are celebrated with vigor, social life s amazing, infrastructure is probably the best among Indian B-schools.
Interview Experience
Yes. GIM considers test scores like CAT, XAT, CMAT, etc. I got in through CMAT and my percentile was 99.8 There was a GD, PI, and WAT I held for students who met the required cut-off. GD-PI WAT preparation involves being in touch with the latest happenings around the world, a lot of self-awareness and clarity as well as decent command over subjects studied in undergraduate. Your extra-cirriculars and overall profile will certainly give you an edge in the selection process.
