Remarks

The environment and surroundings is very good and peaceful. Admission process is through OJEE Counselling. It also is giving placements when compared to other new colleges. The faculty is also helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I always wanted to be a Computer Science Engineer. The faculty: student ratio is 1:9 amd all teachers have completed their Masters, i.e, M.Tech from reputed institutes. Some have also completed their Doctorate, i.e, P.hD.

Yes campus placement is offered and new companies are coming forward for campus placements. 6th, 7th and 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements.

College Events

There are several clubs. Library is accessible by all and we get all books at ease. Sports, NCC are also encouraged and Utkarsh is the Annual Fest wholely conducted by the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There's no fee hike and tuition fees is around Rs. 40,000 per annum. All National and State scholarships are applicable for the students as per the eligibility of the scholarships.

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.

Life of a student in government college of engineering keonjhar

You have to give jee mains and ojee examination to get admission in our college. As my rank was not upto the mark to get admission into vssut or outer but I was fortunate enough to get admission into this college. I would recommend this college if your rank is between 1.5lakh and above. This is the best college you will get in this rank in terms of placements . I've applied for vssut burla and cet bhubaneswar.but I've got in this college and this course from the starting.
