Too good faculity provide for girls. Excellent performance in studies and games.

Course Curriculum Overview

According to university rules. There are one mothly test exam tajen by college in every semester and the anually exam which are taken by university UCG boards on the directions of dean of punjabi university patiala. The great Punjabi university also provide good results.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 38495 per year

Placement Experience

We can openly join any company At our own placement. It has send stundents on job fairs but their all private companies opt us indiviuallly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Online and offline both methods are worked. Another faculity of bank is near to our college area also put deposit iur fees there. The administration staff is so caring about new admisions. College havent any charges on online or offline paying of fees.

Yes, sc students opt Ashirwad schoolarship scheme. In which sc student cant pay there heigher fees that paid by govt.

Campus Life

Our college have all needed lab like, 2 physics labs, 2 chemistry labs, 2 computer labs and also a special agricultural laboratory. Our college have much girl students then boys. The students are well in games and sports as well as studies also. Our college have no any confusing factor for religion and race, all students are accepted.

Hostel Facilities

No, I am not opted for hostel. I live with my parents in my own house. College is govt. college so it haven't any hostel bulding, students can manage in private pg's. That can be get in jaito city or in village also.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

The alumni of this college are so helpful, they provide their 100% on college demand. They are help ful in managment of college.

Admission

I got admission in it because its too near to my hometown. I opt B.Sc Agriculture on my own interest. Firstly student fill admission form given by college administration. Then fill its online on university's site. Then after consling list announced.

Faculty

This college's principle so attentive in tentative lecturers and every class have available lecturer in their lectures. Principle giving round in every class and check the students are attend there lecture properly. Then the students whose caught outside from class has punished.

Likes

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events
infrastructure is not that good , as they were should on the online it is dii
Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

I appreciate the well maintained campus and infrastructure the cleaniness in the collage is good
My engagement with collage is good I join various types of activity in the collage

Dislikes

There is no ac in the class and the class windows are not that good
But there is one problem which is that there is no many options for girls in games like sports

Currently my course at cgc landran does not have any types of placement in my course but however the collage focuses on enhancing development of students employability by providing interships , skills development and workshops to enhance there knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Cmc - a feeling in itself

Likes

Academics are very good along with proper clinical teaching lectures and simulation based teaching. Patient load is good. All the clinicals skills required at mbbs level are taught properly.
There are various extra-curricular activities which take place in college. Many cultural events are organized by college and student bodies every month which gives an holistic development experience
Sports facilities are also there which are very good.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very old and needs repair
Many faculty members are leaving leading to less good professors in the college
Patient load is decreasing day by day resulting in less clinical exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed in our college is CBME based curriculum. Our college was one such college which conrributed tremendously in developing this type of curriculum. It trains you in all clinical skills and provide you with the best doctor skills. Also many soft skills training session our held which helps in developing and training ourselves as good doctor. All the skills are taught on models and patients.clinical training is very good. However , patient load is decreasing which restricts oursleves in seeing variety of patients

Likes

College faculty are very solid and remarkable and some teachers also support the other students in difficult situation like financially
Paramedical course faculty sometimes give random party for students to their achivement

Dislikes

Campus is some sort of small and Students ground is short.
Sports ground is short if two different teams want to play they can't play like that.teams

Placement Experience:

The college provides good opportunities to those who are good at academics and for those who are not good at academics chances for them to placement are very low. During the past year, there were very good companies shown in my college for my seniors, some were very renowned companies and the highest package was something 650000.

The college is of good reputation and is a police academy under the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The college provides many police administration long term and short term courses and two professional courses namely, M.A and M.Phil.
