Overall PESIMSR is a cool Medical school situated in the tri-state region of A. P, Tamil Nadu & Karnataka with a pleasant climate throughout the year and a nice faculty, good patient inflow and very diverse students, teachers, patients making it a fun way to learn Medicine.

APPG exam. Scored 120 rank. I was interested in General Medicine so I have opted this college since I came to know that the Department of General Medicine is good compared to other colleges.

There is wide scope for research in our college. I, as a Pg student has to do one thesis (which is kind of research). We utilize the prestigious NABL accredited Laboratories and also conduct various studies on a long term basis. The followup of the patients(who were undertaken in study) is also very good. We have published many papers in National and International journals and conferences.

There is a regular compulsory internship for the MBBS Undergraduates and stipend will not be paid.Ya external internship program us available for MBBS students and they have to pay a fee of 50k to the university.

Placement for Assistant professors is via interview with management. Management is also a team of Doctors Dr. Suresh krishnamurthy (Cadiologist) and Dr. Roopa (Geriatrics). I guess the basic pay for Assistant professors is around 80k.(which would be negotiable).

Every year cultural event will be celebrated for 3days continuously, which is organised by the Internees of that particular year. There would be a lot of fun, dance programs, stalls, various games, sports competitions among faculty vs students and many more.

Fee structure is a little bit expensive It would be 3.5lakh per year for Postgraduate of clinical subject, 2lakhs per year for non clinical subjects. 50k per year for MBBS students & 11lakhs per year for MBBS students who have entered via B category exam.

The college doesn't offer any loans/scholarships for students. Government sponsored scholarships are valid in this institution but they often come very late to the students and most of the time they spend money from their pockets for the fee.

Girls are more in numbers compared to boys in UG with a M:F of 1:2. Periodically Unit parties will be going on whenever a batch of interns complete their postings in that particular department for 2 months. Batch parties and tours are a frequent thing in the campus. Many of the students are from Andhrapradesh, Tamilnadu and Karnataka. Though such a diversity exists there are no gangs or groups based on state or language, all the students are jovial and get along with each other. We have a small saying over here like "Students are Telugu, Teachers are Kannada and the patients are Tamil" Hence Unity in Diversity.

Hostel accommodation for PG students is excellent but the food is just average like any other mess food (you know what I mean). UG students hostel is a little bit small compared to PG. Hill view Apartments which would be given to married couple is one of its kind with more spacious rooms and all. The cost is 92k per year for Pg students.

There has not been any alumni established so far for our college. We will be looking forward into it in the future. I personally have no interaction with senior students who have passed out of college.

Exams will be conducted once in 6months as per the prescribed MCI norms and also University norms. It will not be hectic. For MBBS students internals will be conducted on timely basis and also end posting clinical exam will be conducted during their clinical postings.

The faculty are excellent, especially our HOD is very keen into teaching. He takes great stress and almost works 18hrs a day. The Professors and Assistant professors especially Dr. Irshad Ali, Dr. Karthik & Dr. Uma are very knowledgeable and they teach us during daily rounds regarding various clinical methods, techniques in diagnosis etc.
