The MBA Experience.

Has exceeded my expectations which is all one looks for when joining an institute or for an organization. Very happy that i took the right decision and i think it will bore fruit when i finally get placed in a good firm with an equally awesome package.

I gave the MH-CET exams, I scored 81/200 that comes out to 84.49 %ile. The college has a good name in the suburban Mumbai area from which to do an MBA.

The course curriculum is progressively good, like i am in the first year yet,so the course does not rush to the specialization i want to do , it first takes me through the general management theory and slowly and steadily i think will introduce me to the specialization aspect.

It does have dedicated people looking after that, that every student does have an Internship to go to, but what is the general stipend or the overall experience i really do not know about it as i am still in my first year.

From what i have heard from my seniors , the placement and job opportunities are very good with companies from all sectors visiting and just last year with amazon visiting for campus recruitment is a big thumbs up to the institutes Placement cell.So i think it has a good reputation on both the aspects.

There are many , from what i have heard from the seniors, all specializations have a different fest that they organize and then there's also a common festival that takes place and many inter college events that take place , also we host many industry talk and seminars in our college, like this year in October we are about to host a programme on behalf of the IIT-Kharagpur Entrepreneurship-Cell in our campus.

The fees is according to the industry standard in the private sector MBA colleges , even lesser than its closest rival thakur that is in kandivali and also infra-structurally superior, thus that makes it a college more feasible than the rest of the group it belongs to.

There are two Scholarship available under different names and all eligible students can list their self under the scheme to take advantage of it.

The gender ratio is pretty great, like for an example if i talk about my class, there are more girls in the class than boys which is a pretty good thing to see, there are people from diverse backgrounds too not shortage there, Some people are very good , some not so good, which i think is true to any institute, organization or all walks of life for that matter.

Do not stay in the Hostel, so really do not know about it, I stay with my parents but if you go to the college website and see the facilities available and the security too i would say it is top notch and one of the very best that is provided in or around mumbai.

The senior students ere very helpful in getting us acclimatize to the new environment they gave us a very good launch pad to start with, right from what to expect and also what not to, what are the various events that will take place in the campus throughout the year and such and which faculty is to be approached how.

Don't know, haven't given an exam yet in the college but from what i have heard from the faculties and seniors, the exams are very broad based and are not meant for the students to just mug up and present but are based on the understanding of the concepts and such.

I got admission in the institute through the Institute level seats, the admission process was simple, u give ur names and scores through a form and merit lists will be put up, so if your name comes up in the list you have the seat in your hand.

The faculties most of them are well qualified, some even holding a P.H.D in their respective fields and are well positioned to guide and lead us students to the way we are supposed to take. The experience that i have had with the faculties has given me a very pleasant feeling in my decision to join the institute as the teaching here is very practical based and the focus in not just theoretically inclined which i think is a very good thing to happen most particularly for a student pursuing an MBA course.
