Summer Internship

Chetana's have two different courses for MBA one of them is MMS and another one is PGDM. I opted for the MMS course and my major was Marketing and sales. The faculty in Chetan's are the same for some subjects and many of them are different as MMS is a degree course and PGDM is a Diploma course. Chetana's have a total of 5 courses Marketing, HR, Finance, Operation & Systems. They are going to start a new course that is Retail as well. Chetan's have a really good reputation for Marketing course as many companies visit them to hire a young marketer and the faculties are experts in marketing & digital marketing. There are many events that happen at Chetana's which are mostly combined with both PGDM & MMS students. The events are a crucial part of MBA life to build team management & Leadership and these events are managed by students only. Also on regular days, there are many presentation competitions happen for students to get away with their stage fear. Thank you.

I chose this course because this is a master's degree course and Chetana's have a really good reputation in marketing. There is a total of 120 students for this course and around 10-12 regular faculties & 10 contract based faculties. All the faculties have either masters or Doctorate. Exams were very crucial and they used to take them o time regular basis.

Chetana's allow their students to do summer internship every year the companies which come for final placements they come for internship placements as well. some of the companies give PPO as well. My internship was in DHL Express and my job was in the Sales department where I had to convert as many as possible customers who are first-time buyers.

Chetana's students get placed in many marketing & Finance companies as it is situated in Mumbai also this is one of the oldest MBA colleges in Mumbai hence trust facture is really high on Chetana. Students get packages from 5-12L per annum.Also students get really good packages if they have previous work experience.

Since this was a merit-based course there was a scholarship available. There were Cap rounds for the admission process hence the lowest limit to get admitted was 90%le. Also, there was a chance for students to do internships during summer hence students can work and get experience and earn.

Since there were many courses available such as Marketing, Finance, HR, Operation & System there were separate events used to happens hence many clubs and committees were there. Students can give the interview to the committee members and join any such club and work for them as well as for the events. There was this big event for sports. it was three days sport event, all students can participate in various games around 20-25 games were planned.

There were many group discussions that used to happen on regular basis in the classroom as well as during events. After the Cap rounds, there were GD and PI for the students who were opting for PGDM but not for MMS.
