Remarks

Student-driven college and seasoned marketing faculty. Location was good and 50-80 company participate in the placements. Student-run business ventures, committee and forum also play important roles in the individual's development (it is a personal opinion).

Course Curriculum Overview

Trimester format, in all domains (Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations, BA&IT). The course structure is designed in such a way that every student can understand the concepts of business markets before entering into the corporate world.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides summer internship opportunity to every student and all the students can also apply on their own. They have both the options to go with if they want to be placed through campus, then it's good, if not they can also opt to find out on their own. Not many colleges provide both these. But IMT Nagpur gives you a chance to be in both the options.

Placement Experience

Placements are good if we look at on ROI basis. The average package is around 6-7 lakh and the highest package is 16 lakh. year by year more and more companies visiting campus and taking part in the recruiting process. The median package is 5.5 lakh. If you perform good in college, competitions, and your profile suits the recruiter, you might get a good placement. In the starting years, salary doesn't matter, if you get a chance to work in a big company, then your life is set.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were around rs 1200000 (Inclusive of the hostel which is mandatory, food, academic fees and electricity charges and room cleaning services). Some single room hostels are present and rest (majority) are double occupancy.

Campus Life

Milestone 34 and Milestone 35(events). Concorde(annual academic forum fest). And different fest and events from different clubs and committees. The very participating atmosphere in this and one can surely enjoy.

Placement Experience:

Currently I am in first year so I have not been placed as of yet but the placemnets for our seniors is on going which is the first batch of MBA HCM and hence I would not be able to reveal the cokmpanies. The few summer internship companies though were Apollo, Nanavati, BMJ etc.

First green B-School in India

Remarks:

The faculties here are very supportive and some of them are always available on campus to help the students and mentor the students to groom them. They always push the students to learn by doing; which is experiential learning. The set up the talks and sessions from industry leaders time to time to keep the students and themselves update about the changes in the corporate world and make them ready to face the challenges.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem. Good Aspects - 1) Quality Mess with edible food. We have a day each in a week of egg and chicken biryani respectively. 2) One of the best Learning and Resource Centers in the country.
