Remarks

SATI is one of the best colleges in Madhya Pradesh. It has produced many engineers who have occupied an influential position in the society. The college is an autonomous institute. The management of the college is highly responsible and always works for the welfare of the students.

Entrance Preview

The examination I wrote to take admission in my college was MPPET. MPPET is a state entrance examination. I scored 99 marks out of 200 and got the state category rank 159. The course which I chose is Computer Science and Engineering. I chose this course because I wanted to be a software Engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is structured based on the requirements of the companies and the industries. The college focuses on the academics as well as on the extracurricular activities. The college believes in creating quality manpower who are equipped with technical skills, social values, leadership, creativity, and renovation for the benefits and betterment of mankind and also in the sustainable development of the nation.

Internships Opportunities

No, my college doesn't provide any internship. But it provides many programming languages workshops such as workshops in C language, C++, Java, SQL, Android etc even for the students for other colleges too.

Placement Experience

2

The placement rate is moderate in my college. In the year 2015-16, many companies visited my college and offered very good job opportunities. The average package for my college is 2.5 lacs. Nearly, 10 companies visited in the academic session 2015-16.

College Events

3

My college conducts Samrat Utsav every year. This is a techno-cultural fest. This fest consists of many outdoor and indoor activities. There are many cultural events that take place such as dance competitions, singing competitions, Rangoli making, Street plays etc. This is a huge festival which lasts for 3 days. The participation is very high. All the students of the college participate actively in all the competitions. Many other events are also organised in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is feasible for all the students. The middle-class family can easily afford the expenses of the college. There are not any other expenses of the college. The hostel facilities are also affordable. The college is not a very expensive premise.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides Madhavrao Scindia scholarship for the topper of every branch. The college also provides the scholarship for SC/ST students and for OBC students whose family's income are low. The college also provides minority scholarship.

Campus Life

2

The campus life of a student is full of learning new things and developing their personalities. A student can gain maximum knowledge during his/her graduation time. The gender ratio of the college is very high. Many programmes are being launched for the upbringing of the minority girl students. The extracurricular activities are conducted often such as various debates, poem recitation, speech competition, poster making, painting, sketching etc. The labs are developed very well for all the branches.

Hostel Facilities

2

The college premise consists of four hostels. Two are boys hostel while the other two are girls hostel. The capacity of each hostel is 150 students. The hostel consists of friendly and studying environment where seniors support all of their juniors. The rooms are well developed and the sanitation facilities are also good. The messes are also good.

Alumni/Alumna

After the first batch which graduated out in 1965, the Institute has sent out, by now, about 4200 engineers and scientists throughout the India and abroad. Many of these alumni, spread over the whole of the country and beyond have reached the top in their respective organisations while the others have occupied senior and influential positions in society. Some who have been able to find time to visit the Institute now are struck by the spectacular progress made since they left years ago.

Exam Structure

The exam structure comprises of two parts. the one consisted of the theory exam and the other is the practical exam. The schedule of the exam is designed so that it doesn't let to the hectic schedule. The labs are scheduled for 15 hours a week. This results in the very practical knowledge.

Admission

The notification of the examination came in October 2012 and the application form was started filling in January 2013. The was conducted on 30th April 2013. There was a long procedure of taking admission. First, you need to register yourself for the counselling and then get your documents verified at Kiosk help centre. Finally, you need to fill choices of colleges. After college allotment, you need to report at the college.

Faculty

2

Most of the faculties are very friendly and supportive. They facilitate student learning and provide effective instructions. The faculties perform evaluations of student learning for all assigned classes, using each course's standard course outline as a guide. They develop course curriculum, lectures, labs, and presentations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.
