My Gitam College Experience

The aspects of this college it is beautifully infrastructured and it is environmentally good and friendly college. There are many cultural activities held every year. The admission is done through the exam which is held by the university itself. The reason I prefer this college over others is since it is a well known university and it is nearby in my area.

I chose this course to do business management and autoprenuership and be well settled in life. There is 1:60 ratio per class. The staff and teachers are well qualified and had done PhD and top courses of teaching. The exams unit are held monthly and mid-exams are also held once in two months. It is quite difficult to pass, but when we study hard we can easily score more enough.

The university offers internship programs from BTech 3rd year itself. For students who want to pursue MTech, it consists of 5 years integrated course. Top companies like Google, Amazon, etc take a lot of percentage of students in internship programs.

The campus placements are very good according to my group in CSE branch and I think so other branches are also having good placements. Companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart and many tops and famous companies come to our university. The average job package is around 8-10 lakes per annum and the highest package according to last year is 17 lakes. The university ensures to get 98% placements records. My plans after b tech degree are to get placed in a good company and start a softwarebusiness.

The fees for my Course is nearly 3 lakh per year, which is high for some people. You can obtain a full fee waiver if you got a scholarship and your rank in the exam held by the university should be less than 250. Or you can get up to 50 % scholarship if you get below 1000 or 25% if you get below 25000. The job placements are good according to my course. They offer an average package of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

The annual fest kalakriti is held every year and many cultural and traditional activities are done in a grand way. There are also many technical events and fests held. There is a very big library which consists of a lot of books and computers for e-learning. You can refer to whichever book you like. There is NCC and NSS events in this university and many sports like cricket basketball, football, volleyball etc and many indoor and outdoor games. There are students clubs also which help the students and encourage them to participate in many activities of our wish.

We had written an entrance test which is held by the gitam university itself. It is quite easy if you have a good grip in basics which you have studied in your high school level. The questions are from MPC subjects the time limit is 2 hrs and consists of 100 questions. I had just studied my 10th class text boom and referred my inter books that's it, and I got around 9000 ranks.
