Remarks
I choose to attend this college because my seniors suggested me because of my CAT score and also because of the discipline maintained here, I was called for the selection process on 15/03/2020 which consisted of Essay writing followed by a group discussion and then a Personal Interview. The only reason for preferring this college over others was its fees and ROI and I used www.youtube.com and www.collegedunia.com and www.shiksha.com while selecting this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I wanted to go into the marketing field and want to be a brand manager. The faculty to student ratio is 1:60. Most of the faculty here is highly experienced and has PhD Degree and also there are two professors for each subject. The exams are conducted timely and it is moderately difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Asian Paints and Emmami come for interns offering stipend around 10-15K for Marketing, HR, Finance, and Operations as well. The projects are basically marketing the company using various techniques and achieving targets.
Placement Experience
After the 3rd-semester companies start coming in and I am still in the 1st semester so I don't have any idea about companies visiting or offers made. However, the highest package of 17lakhs was offered and the avg package is around 6 lakhs. Around 95% of students get placed and my plans after my degree is to join a big company as a brand manager
Fees and Financial Aid
The first year fees are divided into two parts first of 378000 and then 67000(without Hostel), there is no scholarship as such but they provide financial assistance by providing education loan since they have tie-ups with Bank of Baroda and Punjab National Bank and the companies keep coming in for internships providing a stipend of 15000(Emami) or more depending on the company.
Campus Life
I joined the college during Pandemic so I haven't Attended any fest up till now and as heard from my seniors there are thousands of books available in the library and there are sports and extracurricular activities like Drishti where there are games and competitions there is this page on Instagram SBUP mix ran by students
Interview Experience
Yes, I faced GD, PI, and essay writing and the topic of GD was are women good managers or men. In the PI there were questions related to my graduation and also questions related to politics and why Do I want to do an MBA and why not another course. For preparing for these rounds I read newspapers and revising important topics of graduation subjects and taking tips from my seniors.
