Entrance Preview

CAT, 90 percentile, Opted for the course as I was aware of the positive reviews about the institute and the program.

Internships Opportunities

For summer internship, multiple companies come to campus to pick up from projects. Till the year of my passing out, there was a 100% track record for summer internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is easily available for any student. Most if the banks are readily giving loans to students. In fact the campus also arranges for this facility.

Campus Life

A mix of all backgrounds of students are there in a batch, with a fairly high number of girls in the batch. The campus gives an opportunity to build on your interests with various extra curricular activities. Additionally there are various clubs which promote these activities.

Exam Structure

The exam structure includes basically 6 trimesters spread over 6 modules. Each trimester/module has a mix of sales, marketing, HR, general management,etc and related learning. Exams were held at the end of every trimester, to check on the learning's of every individual for these trimesters.

Admission

Post CAT results, i got a call gor groyo discussion. Post clearing Group Discussion which lasted for almost 15-20 minutes, there was a personal interview. In the interview there was a panel who interviewed in a plethora of topics. Basis clearing this, I was offered a seat on the program

Faculty

Excellent. There were expert faculty across various sectors. For finance, there were experts who apart from being faculty, were also working with NSE in various boards and bodies. For Marketing, there were professors, who retired from top management positions from different industries.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. Till the time of writing, I am in 3rd month of my 5 month last semester and in my class about 60% of my batch is placed. You have to submit a student body fee of 40000 a year to be eligible for taking placements as this help out in having events organized outside the college. As there is no placement cell provided by DU, our student body is mostly run by students. Currently highest package offered was about 27 lpa and roles that have come are management trainee, Junior Data scientist, risk analyst etc.

LBSIM: Life Changing Experience for me.

I was offered admission by Fore, Delhi, NMIMS Bangalore, Hyderabad, GLIM Gurgaon but I talked to people of different colleges on Linkedin. I found that LBSIM people were good at interactions and overall location, curriculum suited me the most. The admission process had a GD followed by PI. I was selected through CAT but selection through XAT is also availble. Cut off ranges from 72 percentile for RBA to 84 percentile for General. I had wailist at Fore, which got clear after the first round but the response of LBSIM's RBA was better than Fore's BDA...Read More
