Remarks

I have done my 11th and 12th from CMS junior College which is maintained by the same people running CMS degree College, along with my graduation I have also pursued CA and CMA. This college provided me with the facility of having CA classes as well as BCom classes under one roof which is one of the main reason of me choosing this college and moreover the college has all the necessary facilities a good college should have, The quality of education is also very nice. Hence this college seemed to be the best choice for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My main focus is on CA, I was suggested to also complete my graduation alongside CA and Bcom was the best course to do simultaneously with CA as they had a lot of syllabus in common and hence I chose BCom, The teaching is very effective in this college the faculty: student ratio is nearly 1:50. All the faculties are well qualified some of them being qualified chartered accountants and some being M.Ed graduates. Timely exams are conducted every weekend to check the performance of the students.

Placement Experience

3

There are no campus placements available, but coming to employability or plans after getting the course the case isn't that worse. Doing BCom alone may not be sufficient in current times to secure a good job for someone, according to me Bcom can be done more like an additional. Qualification rather than the main qualification and my plans regarding it is the same. My First priority is completing my CA and Bcom is Just for an additional qualification in the commerce field. Doing MCom or MBA after BCom could also be a good idea to secure a good earning job in the future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite reasonable which is Rs.20000 per year and the cost of studying isn't much except buying books. Out of the total fee, 50% of the fee will be reimbursed by the government of Telangana in the form of scholarship under the TS epass scholarship scheme.

Campus Life

2

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic there haven't been any fests this year and me being joining the college in this year itself I don't know about the fests which are conducted, there's no library in the college, Classrooms are well equipped with all necessary amenities, sports isn't given much importance in the college their core focus will be on academics more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to be an Accountant. So I did choose the Bcom finance course. Faculties are very friendly and supportive. All the faculties are pg and bed completed ones. There are many teachers who have cleared the net, set exams, and also guest lectures. Due to covid 19 times, exams were not regularly done. we did immense hard work to clear the exams. Up to 3 semesters of exams were taken regularly that is with 6 months gap. From November to June, the last 3 semesters were taken. Also, the examiners and valuation were liberal.

Placements are there as many companies came to give jobs and almost most of them got the job after graduation and I think this college has a better placement. If we are low at marks obtained then the chance of getting a placement is difficult.
