VTUEE, Scholarship programs in the university are so helpful to students from backward classes, this way university has changed my life.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, many times the internships are with stipend but I have attended one with no stipend. The internship was in a industrial area which trained us in PLC and SCADA and Measuring and calibration of instruments.

Placement Experience

VTU offers placement assistance to their students through a range of activities that focuses on the overall development of the candidate and prepare them to be industry ready. Keeping what holds good for the students in the future the placement department has coined multiple training programs to equip the students to become market ready.

Admission

VTUEE entrance examination is organised every year in April month. I purchased the form and applied for the entrance exam. I appeared and scored well to get admission invitation letter and counselling.It was counselling for admission on the first day. I was explained about college and scholarship plans. I payed the counselling fee and admission fee later to join the college and I received the scholarship for whole 4 years.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
