Remarks

The college had many decent good buildings with proper accommodation for air. There were good hostel facilities too. The canteen of the college was also good and very spacious. However, fee air conditioners were needed in the auditorium of the college. Wi-Fi facility was also available, and whenever needed, management does help.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members of the college were very educated and experienced also. Many of the senior teachers of our college gave special lectures on motivation and leadership. They were always very helpful. But the teachers should also give practical knowledge side by side.

Course Fees: INR 118000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement facility for our course was not at all good. Only companies which came were immigration or consultancies companies. They were offering the salary package of 2 LPA - 3 LPA. So the placement facility for B.Com was below average.

College Events

I opted for this course as it gives basic knowledge about the fundamentals of commerce industry. They help us to grow our business and in any other streams. But practical knowledge should be given more value. Extracurricular activities of our college were very good. Almost every month atleast 2-3 events were organised for different occasions respectively.

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

I haven't opted for intership program but one of my friend got internship in IBM company. Apart from intership many more industrial visits are made by the college. It's gives more knowledge regarding the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty,their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.
