Aniket Pawase's Review On Finolex Academy Of Management And Technology - [FAMT], Ratnagiri

This college is decent college in Ratnagiri(Konkan) region. Mechanical branch of this college is good, the branch in which I wanted to have my Engineering degree. Also the faculty is supportive. These are the reasons to choose this college.

The curriculum of the course is very good. The faculty support is also nice. In addition, various live workshops and internships are provided by the college, like for Mechanical branch, internship at Ratnagiri bus depo was provided where actual maintenance of ST buses was done. All the professors(teaching staff) are good also non teaching staff is supportive.

Placement and job opportunities are pretty good. IT companies like TCS, Accenture offered software developer jobs. Finolex Industries offers a variety of job roles for IT and Mechanical branches. Overall good placement opportunities are provided but can't say best.

One can enjoy the Campus life. Various events are carried out. Technical festival named 'Brainwaves' is arranged during the odd semester and the cultural festival named 'Utopia' is arranged during the even semester. Sports festival is also arranged by the students where different departments take part to win the sports cup.

Many scholarship options are available at college. Options like EBC, and many other can be availed by the students by completing the proper procedure.

College is having good infrastructure. A proper workshop place is available. Wifi connectivity is good at the Campus and library is decent, can't say the best. All the labs are well equipped with required equipments, like for Mechanical branch, different engines, boiler models are available at workshop.
