Remarks
This was closer from my home. I had my friends studying here already they too recommended me this college because the travelling time was under 30 min from home to college. Most of the colleges have veg cafeteria but this college had a non veg canteen this alone wasn't the deciding factor but surely it was one of them.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum taught by the University is of mumbai University. It's a little outdated considering it hasn't been changed form 10 years. Teachers although cover everything and doubts are cleared regularly but then too the portion needs to be updated. Some faculties which are always willing to help are Miss Sejal Chopra and Miss Ditty Varghese and Mr. Imran we've been to IV's and also done a few internships every even semesters so we do have little experience through that.
Internships Opportunities
I had opted for content writing at internshala and I was paid somewhere around 1550. For the solutions I've given. I had given the interview thorough internshala so it was an online internship.
Placement Experience
There's TPC like many other colleges. Many companies visit likenL&T and Reliance. The interviews are held for every third year candidates and they go on for 2 weeks people are placed for I.T jobs more as compared to comps students and usually the starting salary starts from 4 lakhs to 5 lakhs I know this because I had a friend in I.T he was placed in Lion bridge located in Airoli.
College Events
College holds plenty of events every semesters. Every even semesters we have 3 major events like Hysteria and collosseum. Hysteria is for the entire college rather than just engineering department and collosseum is for engineering students. Besides this there's also a tech event where games/apps made by students are showcased. Every odd semesters we have department days. Every department has it's own day. All the even semester events are inter college events except colosseum and participation is huge.
Campus Life
Every department has it's own building. Computer department alone has 10 labs atleast followed by I.T and Mechanical. Also a separate building for First year students is under construction in our campus. We have 2 courts one for basketball and another for box cricket and volleyball. There's also a ground for football. Overall the campus is encouraging enough for sports. Not to mention the canteen and the H.M canteen which are more than adequate to fill more than 100 students at a time. Also separate BMM and BMS have different buildings from the engineering departments.
