Remarks

Good, with proper facilities. The Wi-Fi facility was there. One of the oldest College inaugurated by Lala Lajpat Rai. So, they also have some historical background. Proper ground for sports activities. indoors as well as outdoor. The swimming pool was there. A proper parking facility was there.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members were very helpful and supportive. Teaching methods were also very good, quite impressive which helped in the development of critical thinking and a more practical approach to the subject. Teachers helped us in exploring our potential as well as in the Overall development of their students. Various educational tours were there to enhance the knowledge of the students.

Course Fees: INR 79050 per year

Placement Experience

No campus placement were there for our course. No internship programme were there. Campus placement were there only for management courses. Students got placed into some good private and government sectors. Some other facilities were there for sport quotas students, like selection in state teams and national teams.

College Events

Our campus conducts many extracurricular activities like sports meet, fests and many other things. Could have been better if they have more extra curriculum activities. Dav college organises various function during a year like talent hunt, savaan function, etc. and provide scholarships to needy students.

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

A perfect blend of academics, campus life and opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculumn of chandigarh university is releavant and covers core subjects with projects and labs. It support basic industry readiness, but pratical exposure can improve. Exam are held mid and the end semester with modern difficulty. More hands on experience and updated technoilogies would enhance overall effectiviness and career prepartions.

Placement Experience:

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type then run spell check. Technology is changing our NEEDS opinion is that curriculum should reflect our reality. No one gets paid to solve problems that have already been solved. Students should be exposed to solving problems they have not seen before but that can be solve with the content they have learned in class. This will help them develop problem solving strategies they will be able to use the rest of their lives
