Remarks

Our college provides many opportunities for students, and not only in the field of study this institute try to engage its students in curriculum activities too. Like they organise seminars, workshop, internship and different training for making awareness among students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers guide best to the students so that they can achieve high goals in future. It is worth to be a part of this college. And within six months, more than 50 companies visited the campus and hired the students in different profiles, which is a very proud moment for us.

Our college is a prestigious institution. It provides many opportunities for students. Within six months, nearly about sixty companies visited for the recruitment and hired the students. More than 400 students got placed in different profiles.

Things that can be improved :- course curriculum, specialization, internship chances and placements. Events, fest, campus crowd and other things are quite good.

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty,their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.
