Remarks

I have very good feedback on my college w.r.t. management. It was always helpful for the students. I really liked their scheme SFS(Self finances Scheme) of borrowing the books. We had very good library. We can carry 2 books for 15 days. I still cherish those memories.

Entrance Preview

I took CET. I opted for this college in the first round. Though I had an option for MSR IT in the second round, I stuck to this college only, as it's close to mu house and had very good opinion.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose Telecommunications as the course in the Bachelor of Engineering degree. I was not intended to choose this course. I think that's called destiny. I thoroughly enjoyed studying in the Telecommunications course. All the subjects were exciting and interesting!! Most of the subjects were common for Telecommunications and Electronics.

Placement Experience

4.5

When came out in 2002, placement option was just introduced dell came to our college. Also, 2002 was very tough time for the freshers. But, now, I think it has very good Placement facility. Also, college has made very good name. I hope passed out students are grabbing the opportunity.

College Events

4.5

We had fun filled events every year, we used to celebrate event(annual day). It was flooded with guests and celebrities we used to have loads of fun. Also, we used to celebrate festivals, Rajyotsava, etc. Event was full with cultural activities like singing, dancing, drama. etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was very feasible. I remember, I used to pay Rs 7,500/- per year for the government free seat and exam fee would be around 1000. I think, now the fee has been increased to 5-6 times. Apart from these 2 fee, I don't this that they were collecting any other.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've not offered with any scholarship or the loan facility for making exam fee. Neither I asked for that. I hope, there was such facility for the poor students.

Campus Life

4.5

We were the first batch of VTU(Visvesvaraya Technological University). Our seniors were the last batch of Bangalore University. I think we are they only batch, who faced lots of challenges. Labs were fantastic. We had good ratio of boys and girls. We used have lost of fun with outings and events.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Well, as I'm local-ate, I didn't stay in the hostel. But I used hear good feedback from my friends who stayed in hostel. They came from different part of India. They thoroughly enjoyed staying in the hostel. Boys hostel was near to the college and Girls hostel was in Chickballapur town.

Alumni/Alumna

As mentioned above, We were the first batch of VTU(Visvesvaraya Technological University). Our seniors were the last batch of Bangalore University. Though it's a new University, we used to refer to their notes and text books. They were very co-operative. Even we supported for their strikes.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was very good. We had very big campus and buildings. Infrastructure was very well maintained for exams. We had enough place for last minute studies when I studied 1998-2002, there was no issues or escalations I have seen w.r.t. examinations.

Admission

I was excited to see the seat allotment for the college join Sri Jagadguru Chandrasekaranatha swami ji Institute of Technology in the first round of selection. It was my dream to join this college, as it;s close to my house. Admission was very excited, as I see most of my school friends.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty was really awesome. They were very well experienced. Some faculty used to mesmerism us with their lectures. We thoroughly enjoyed their lecture for 4 years. We are lucky and fortunate to have such a great faculties. I wish them for a healthy and happy life.

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
