Mohammed Asif Mushraff's Review On DAV College, Jalandhar

There is a separate IT department in our college, and a proper Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus. There is also a huge library in our college. I am a day scholar, so I don't have a personal hostel experience. But there are separate hostels for both boys and girls, and they are safe and secured for them.

Teachers are well-qualified and experienced. Some of them are government certified and highly professional members. There are many curricular activities for our course. An annual IT fest is organised for us to gain extra knowledge and also to improve our skills.

Above 60% of the students got placed. The salary packages offered are range from 2.2 LPA to 4 LPA. The placement cell works very aggressively. A good number of companies also visit the campus for placements. But due to less number of service sectors and industries in the nearby area of Jalandhar, hence recruitment and packages offered are not high. The main top roles offered are teacher, programmer, web developer and app developer.

In India, as we all know that the IT sector plays an important role, and I like to do something special for my nation, so I chose this course. I wish that they should include more practicals in our course.
