Divyansh K. Tyagi's Review On Amity University, Gwalior

The college is good but as there are some disturbing elements in every environment but there should be a screening of those hassle making people.

I came into the college by participating in AMCAT organized by Amity University as an entrance exam. The score was not revealed yet I was told that I've cleared the interview. I chose Amity University Gwalior because it was widely known for its authenticity and branding.

My course is an absolute core course and the curriculum is very great for further research. They make us research and develop new term papers every alternate semester. Our curriculum also contain a development of personality and core knowledge direction as we have behavioural science and the laboratory sessions widely for practical and personal development.

Our college provide internship and there are lot of companies that come to offer internship in the college like Dainik Bhaskar, Tata etc. The stipend is not in my knowledge till now as my internship is going to be started from the 4th semester.

The placements are wide and we'll established. As the branding of the university is very good we receive great companies to place is that visit our university. Example Tata, Microsoft, Samsung, Daikin, etc. Placement rate are high and very good. Last year the highest package received by the person of my course was 22 lakh.

There are lot of events happen throughout the college like national seminars of different courses. Sangathan the sports event. Aaroh the technical fest. cineste the cultural fest. Foundation day. And a lot more. Tech fest and cultural fest has wide variety of prices.

The fee structure is neither feasible not expensive. The fee is reasonable but is not affordable by everyone. And as the fee structure explains the fine and retention to late fee it gets more mire under the category of expensive to a lower middle class family.

The college offers great scholarships starting with the high school graduation percentage. For 70-80%, 25% scholarship. For 81-85%, 50% scholarship. For 86-90%, 75% scholarship. For 91% and above, 100% scholarship.

The labs are very good and the extracurricular activities that are to be performed are very great and motivating for the recreation for a hard working student. The social life is very good in the college as their is no gender level or any other discrimination.

The hostel facilities are good as they have section distribution I.e. three rooms in one section every room have two hostelers and the section have one washroom and one toilet. The mess food is undoubtedly regular but it is better than the tiffin centers nearby.

Seniors are very helpful as they help us in studies and other stuff like personal matters. As their nothing like ragging in the college the senior junior relationship is more enhanced and their is a great sense of respect to be builder up due to such a case.

The examination structure consists of class tests which are written, GD's, Speeches and classroom activities. Then we have mid semesters which consists of written tests and oral examination. At last we face end semesters which consists of a written and a practical examination.

I filled the form online the year before graduation to get newsletters on a educational website and secured my entry through directly reaching the university and filling up the form. By clearing AMCAT (GD & PI) I secured my seat in the course I wanted in the university.

The faculty is Well educated and have wide knowledge and experience. Faculty knows how to handle the situation with different type of students and also help student solve professional and personal matters. They are friendly enough to share the thoughts about the class and if the student does not understand anything. Every teacher has been completed their Ph.D from widely known universities and has a experience in other good universities.
