Remarks :

Good placements, nice faculities, near from home. Then my fathers home is also there so i likr that place very much. Then some other factors influenced me are the climate as its near the beach its always cool.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The couse was btech in mechanical engineering. And the university was Mg university. I love mechanical engineering because i have a passion for mechanics from the childhood. I love the curriculam also.

Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience :

Good reputed companies visited my college. And lots of people got placed in many reputed companies.

College Events :

Campus life was very awesome enjoyed the teenage life completly there. It was really like a family for me there and almost all friends are like best friends. The culture of our college was very famous.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I didnt know about scholorshipe because i didnt get any but there are students who got it. Loan facilities were available.

Campus Life :

Wifi facility was there. Good canteen and foods of all varieties are available with descent price and with good quality. All sports facilities are available there. And also swimming pool was there. Good teachers.

Hostel Facilities :

I didnt opt for hostel. The hostel rooms are very nice and have Ac in all rooms and also tv is available in the Mess. The rent for the hostel food and hostel was fair. We lived there very happily. It was a joyfull atmoshphere.

Hostel Fee : INR 20000 per year

I chose electrical engineering because I had a specific interest in electrical technology and moreover, I believe that electrical engineering has more opportunities for jobs and I chose KTU as my university because of its certificate value Even though the curriculum only provides a short period of time for each semester, I wish if the time period increase so we can spend more times with friends and teachers and thereby we can learn more things. The placements are not upto the mark. Many students in my class were left unplaced(about 40%). But you'll get placement if you have skill but don't expect a higher Lpa job. Overall about 30-40% students are still unplaced I got placed in IBM with a package of 4.5 lpa, So I'll join my company

NIT Calicut diary by an average student
