Remarks :

The first thing which drive me for this admission is because of the placement opportunities provided by the college and they have strong faculty team.The college infrastructure and facilities are really good.Their experience in the education level is rated high and this made me to choose SCMS. Along with that they provide many other exposure activites and programs where a student can explore his/her skills, thereby getting better experience about the corporate world and the worknature.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good from the academic perspective.Yes we have got industrial exposure and the faculty team is way better.They are always there with to help us out.The College is affiliated to MG university.The University seems to be less responsive as our first sem results are still not announced.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 700000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Yes-Fresh Paprika,food services,digital marketing

Placement Experience :

Currently due to the pandemic the situation is bad.But last year it was very good.Many of my seniors got placed in well reputed companies with a good salary package.

College Events :

SCMS gives the students a lot of opportunities to participate in management fests.The best ones also have recieved many certificate s for their top performance in the management fest.Their presence in management and culturalfests is very much evident as they allow the students to participate.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, I think there is scholarship/loan facility givenby the college.But I have not availed it.Many of my friends have gone for that.

Campus Life :

Infrastructure,wifi, library facilities can be rated to the best.They don't give much importance to sports but still there are many sports activities.The library has huge collections of books, thesis, management textbooks and all.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are really good.They provide Wifi facilities,AC rooms and other facilities also.In a room there are 2-3 students and therooms are well cleaned every week.Regarding the hostel fee,it is acceptable as the meas fee is also included with that.The mess food is comparatively good compared to other college hostels.

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements ie; at the beginning of second year itself . Students are eligible with a CGPA of 7 for most of the companies visiting Amrita School of Business, Kochi. Most of the banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI BANK etc comes for placement. Also PWC, Deloitte, BNY Mellon etc comes for placement. Many marketing companies like World of Stones, Exide batteries etc will come for placements. Good companies are more coming for placements. Avg package is 6 lakhs and highest is 14 lakhs. Almost 98% gets placed from college.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
