Remarks

Yeah it needs some changes in research field like encouraging students to get involved and try to get good companies for campus placements and yes it needs some changes in management too.

Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET exam and got a decent rank of 20000 .I have opted mechanical engineering in this college as it is a government university and good faculty and facilities are there in this college our total college area is 280 acres man it's pretty big.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is good and research field depends on one's own interest, unlike the private universities forcing to do that or this. If one wants to gain knowledge it's a good place to learn and develop but I am sure that good campus placements will be there for the coming generations.

Internships Opportunities

In the third year second semester we have done internship and faculty helped us getting it stipend depend on which kind of internship you have chosen.

Placement Experience

4

Coming to placements it's not that good for mechanical and civil departments but for CSE, EEE, ECE they were good as every company is a software company the packages for them were like 20000 pm to 30000 pm as our engineering college is a new college it takes time to get high end companies in placements may be it will one more year.

College Events

5

Our university is best among it conducts every sort of events from cultural to engineering . During our batch they conducted anusodhana tech fest every year and there were seminars conducted by isro, drdo, nstl and seminars on big data and the big among all is the India youth science congress which is a prestigious event . It's a university Mann no doubt trust me everyone will love our college no matter what whether they might be sports loving person or arts or science loving person.

Fee Structure And Facilities

During our batch that is 2012-16 the fee structure is like 31000 plus 2500 building fund. It's a good affordable fee structure and it's about 57000 a year and 2500 for building fund for now batches and this structure may get reduced after two years as our engineering department will be undertaken by government as it is self finance now which means it runs on university funds.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships will be given if you are eligible for it and many of my friends who are coming from backward classes availed the government offered scholarships.

Campus Life

5

It's a university and there is lot to enjoy here and four years for enjoying won't be enough. If you want fights you can and if want knowledge, you can have it, if you want arts, you can involve in it and my self went to Karnataka for south zones in the field of painting and if you sports damn this is the best thing and there is a gym where you can burn your calories . It entirely depends on your attitude no one forces you here to do this or that there is isro satellite data analysis center ,big data center ,germi research center and workshops are the best damn you will university.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Coming to me I'm a day scholar but I used to stay in hostel while project work and the hostel is very huge and 4 members can stay if they want in a room and sorry I don't know about fee structure for hostel but upto my knowledge it's very reasonable and facilities are good and WiFi enabled .Coming to mess you can eat how much you want and food will tasty and don't worry if the food isn't tasty sometimes there will be a canteen waiting for you in university where the prices are dead cheap like 16 rupees a plate chapathi and 30 rupee for a plate meals.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes there is good alumni there were people who were really in big positions from our university our administration is trying to make a portal and if you want try LinkedIn and our seniors are helpful but I am saying again it depends on your attitude.

Exam Structure

Exam days are best you never need to worry about them at all there were two midterms for every semester and if you are book worm then you will rock and top in college if you are a bencher it depends on your ability coming to labs they were good and there is no one going to stop you from doing new things and there was pressure on you by lab technicians unlike private universities.

Admission

The process is simple you just need to attend the EAMCET test for engineering and opt the college while counseling and if you want to do M.Tech attend the gate and opt this whole counseling .coming to the administration it's good for engineering department.

Faculty

4.5

They were good and cooperative and help you in every sort of work more over they teach you in a friendly manner and you will never want to miss the college. If you are interested in research field then they try their level to develop or recommend you for such things all over they are the best ,I'm not comparing to central institutes.

From 7th semester we will get eligible for placements but at 7th semester we have to do internships. So, those we will do internship at 8th semester will attend that placements. They will show companies like Facebook,Google , Amazon , ISRO in their websites. But actual companies what we get are Surya tech solutions, AR tech solutions, paltech ,and other Chennai based companies. Especially for Electronics and communication technology they will not provide any better placements when compared to other departments.
