Remarks

I choose this college because it is highly advanced and with best staff and also it has good canteen hostel facilities and good campus. Our teachers are very good and caring. My brother is also studing in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Besides the usual bane of reservations, CEG faculty recruitment is severely marred by nepotism and recommendations. There are well-recorded cases where PhD holders from IIT have been rejected to favour poor candidates from lesser-known institutes. We direly need a fair and transparent recruitment process totally sans all favouritism and bias.

College Events

They became an indispensable part in my college life. There was this one fellow, Shobu, the friendly dog who would follow us to all our classes. He would even sit between our legs, under the table through all the lessons. CEG would probably be the first college where a class got cancelled cuz a dog

Campus Life

The one most annoying thing about hostel. 9 pm and the gates are shut. No amount of smart talk will get your ass in if you aren't there on time. In my first year, we had a very kind watchman who would sneak us if we got late by a few minutes. I will always bless his kind soul in my prayers.

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.
