Entrance Preview

SRMEEE was the enterance test. I scored around 160 out of 200Had got 5152 Rank in the year 2011. I took up telecommunications because of personal interest .Admission process was really cool. Nothing much to take stress about.

Internships Opportunities

No internships offer to me. Only job offers. There were like 200+ companies that came in last year.

Placement Experience

100% placement is garunteed. Average package is 4 Lpa. All sort of companies come in and pick students. Ones offering from 3 lpa to 40 Lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Schemes like 100% scholarships are available here. All you need to do is find out how you can get because not many people know about it.

Campus Life

Campus life is just awesome. Just what you need at that age. Gender ratio is nearly equal. Labs are great too. Something or the other keeps on happening every other day. All you need to be is updated.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
