Student's Review On Vinayaka Missions University - [VMU], Salem

It is low budget but good institute. One of my senior studied from there. Being raised from a lower middle class family I can afford the expences there. Faculties are good. My senior who studied there, got a decent job in Marriott hotels. Therefore I prefered this college.

Syllabus is vast covering almost every thing. It is quite tough to cover but gives thoroughly knowledge. Numerical numbers on marksheet are not every thing here. You will get plenty of practicals here. Faculties are friendly but strict about time sence and grooming.

I have an industrial training at Taj hotels in Agra where I got 2000 as stipend. I joined Marriott hotels in Bangalore as Management trainee where I got 20000 per month as stipend.

Every man needs leisure. Hotel industry is one of the best hospitality industry which can provide all leisure to us. After this course you can choose to go for government jobs also if you are not interested in this industry. It gives us both ways. Now a days the demand is raising day by day( although in recent times i.e after March '20, there is a decline, but industry will come with more strength with a lot of opportunities)

I was very introvert at first. Bearing a Bengali,I faced some problems to matched with tamil culture and tamil friends. There are a few ragging also but it helps me to be prepared for profeesional life. Being interested about sports activities I attended the badminton tournaments and athletics i.e high jump and 800 m run every occasion. Got some award also.

I don't take scholarship or loan but now a days a lots of bank offering loan for students. Best to go for self assessment before joining a profeesional courses. You have to pay a lot of money. At first contact University for details about scholarship or loan availablity.

One of the best as per budget. All types of sports activities, gym available. I got a fabulous collection of books on our department in library. Labs are modernized to a present day hotel facilities to give a decent knowledge.

I take a personal room in rent and make my meal every day. Being an introvert, I had to choose this option. You can get a room near University at rupees 4000 per month easily. It is better option for north indian students there.
