I Attended SRMJEEE, which is SRM's entrance exams for Engineering courses in SRM. I as always fascinated by Computers and coding. And I have heard that SRM conducts many coding related competitions and gives practical exposure.Thats why i joined SRM.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Wipro , Accenture and other nearby Companies offer internships. Stipend is based on the work. As a matter of fact the University syllabus includes a Subject named Industrial training where a student has to do a internship and get a certificate to get credits in that subject.

Placement Experience

SRM is well know for placements. in this year's Placement, around 6000+ students got placed on the first day. Many companies like amazon, Mu sigma arrive with a package of 18 lakhs +.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
