Remarks

Security not returned 10000 Rs, asked for more money 24000 without any mail or online post or any notice. Asking 2000 Rs more for Degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty was average to below average. Students were also below average. Students didn't want to learn, teachers don't want to teach. Only one or two teachers I met who taught without notes, entered the class on time and with one chalk, rest most of the teachers did attendance and dictated notes.

Placement Experience

Placements were of no use to me, I got off-campus placement to TCS. Average companies came to hire students here. What can you expect of Tier 3 colleges, where teachers are hired whose percentage is 50% to 65% on average.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got shortlisted for Smart India Hackathon, but college didn't provide fee to go there, which was refundable. Fee was hiked, and no notice was given. Now college only has Mechanical and CSE branch, remaining branches have been removed.

Campus Life

Very poor infrastructure, no contests and quizzes were arranged as in IIT or DTU campus they have. The worst thing about this college was they take money on time, but have no courtesy to answer to mails and give security money back to students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel was good. Food was of bad quality. Fee was extremely high as per the area. Internet speed issue, Cleanliness issue.

IET Lucknow good or bad ?

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible after 3 year for placement they can show case their skills to the companies and get placement. Companies visiting are amazon, bajaj, tcs, google, Deloitte, flipkart and other tech based companies. Highest last year was 50 lpa offered by Amazon and average was 10 for cse braches. All majority of cs students were campus placed. My plans currently after degree is doing job in a mnc with a side earning by trading and editing videos or you can say doing a freelancing working part time

Life @ IITK

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Kanpur are excellent, especially in core engineering, software, analytics, and finance sectors . Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester(B.Tech). Top recuiters include Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, and Texas Instruments , startups and PSUs like IOCL and ISRO also visit. Highest package was around 1.5Cr/annum, while avg package for mechanical is 18Lpa. Over 84% of eligible students get placed . After my degree , I plan to pursue higher studies .

Placement Experience:

after 8th semesters , students become eligible for campus placements...many small companies visit here for placements and some big companies too like BYJUs and others.. Highest package is 12 Lacs per annum and lowest 1.5 lacs per annum Average package is around 5 lacs per annum. Percentage of students getting placed is around 50% from campus placements ... Many students prepare for competitive exams after course completion like GATE , UPSC ESE and CSE , RRB JE , AE JE , STATE AE JE SSC JE etc .

Positive things are college have good infrastructure actually its a best infrastructure among all the college in the city, in addition there is a temple of Lors Shri Krishna and radha ji which comes in biggest temple of shri krishna in city Negative is only there no placements and they are also not for trying for that.

The very first impression of the college was an average one.

Remarks:

I wont give any remarks because i think it depends upon students that how he will perform.The college has a very good platform for Biotech students as they offer research and jobs in their own labs. The overall experience was very good. It was a beautiful journey with events faculties crowd and practical situations. The life teaches you how to interact and react with every situation in life.The seminars, internships and regular technical and non technical activities gives a vast experience of academics and life.

A genuine review about the college

I chose this college because it's affiliated with ggssipu and the location. I also chose this college because of its placement reviews and faculty reviews. It also has great infrastructure. I applied to many other colleges our of station. And I get into them as well but this was the best option from all of it due to location and ipu. Beyond the classrooms: how JIMS shape students career.

The admission process is very simple. It is done on the basis of your jee rank for btech course. The admission is also done on merit basis based on your class 12 marks in pcm as well as overall. After the jee exam one needs to apply for the separate counselling for ggsipu admissions and then according to the cutoff and one's rank the admission is done. For merit based admission one needs to contact the college administration. I chose this college as it is near to my place plus it does not impose the uniform on students which is a big relief.
