Remarks

I heard about GMCH being a very good private institution wrt studies for MBBS, so I decided to go for it in the counselling round. The faculty is good but infrastructure and facilities do not meet my expectations which I had because of massive amount of fees. To get admission here, you just need to enter the counselling round and if your rank holds a seat for you then congratulations.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because I wanted to do something I'm medical field and what could have been a better option than MBBS! Faculty: student ratio is 1:150 The teachers are well qualified medical practitioners. Term exams are held every 6 months and are quite basic and easy to pass because I studied well.

Placement Experience

0.5

This will be possible only after completing the degree of 5 years. And there is internship in the final year of course with stipend.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of private MBBS colleges (including mine) is pretty much high. Whereas fees of the government medical colleges is very low when compared. Internship in the final year with stipend is only mean of source to earn here as a student.

Campus Life

2

Annual fest is conducted around the month of March or April. Other than this, there is fresher's and sports week per year. Good no. and variety of books are available in the library.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

A hostel room has to be shared between two students. Rooms are air conditioned. Meal quality and the menu are average. Hostel fees is 2,00,000 INR.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is similar to the curriculum of National medical council which offer about the duties of Indian medical graduate. The exams conducted by the administration are moderate to difficult but can be passed if studied regularly. Three semesters are conducted every year and a final university exam is conducted. The passing rates are good.

Placement Experience:

We became eligible for placement after internship. Till internship,we don't have any choice to work anywhere else unless your family own a hospital. After internship,we can join a hospital as mbbs doctor or we can opt for examination like NEET pg or UPSC CMS or M.O. Highest package is 1-2 lakhs per month Lowest package is 50000 per month Percentage of students getting placement -80% My plan is to qualify neet pg and get a high ranked course .
