Remarks

The Worst Highlighting and underlining led the authorsメ list of ineffective learning strategies. Although they are common practices, studies show they offer no benefit beyond simply reading the text. Some research even indicates that highlighting can get in the way of learning because it draws attention to individual facts, it may hamper the process of making connections and drawing inferences. Nearly as bad is the practice of rereading, a common exercise that is much less effective than some of the better techniques you can use. Lastly, summarizing, or writing down the main points contained in a text, can be helpful for those who are skilled at it, but again, there are far better ways to spend your study time. Highlighting, underlining, rereading and summarizing were all rated by the authors as being of モlow utility.ヤ The Best In contrast to familiar practices like highlighting and rereading, the learning strategies with the most evidence to support them arenメt well known outside the psych lab. Take distributed practice, for example. This tactic involves spreading out your study sessions, rather than engaging in one marathon. Cramming information at the last minute may allow you to get through that test or meeting, but the material will quickly disappear from memory. Itメs much more effective to dip into the material at intervals over time. And the longer you want to remember the information, whether itメs two weeks or two years, the longer the intervals should be.

Internships Opportunities

For many students, internships are an important part of the college experience. The internship has virtually become a rite of passage for students nearing the end of their undergraduate careers, as evidenced by required internship programs at numerous universities. Academic advisers often have the opportunity to work with students before, during, and after their internship experiences. It is common practice for advisers to help students plan coursework so that students can participate in internships as well as communicate with students while they are enrolled in the internship. However, the focus of this article addresses how academic advisers can help students reflect on their internship experiences after they return to campus. The purpose of this article is to highlight the values of internships, discuss the importance of studentsメ reflections on their internship experience, and share tips for advisers seeking to facilitate student reflection.

Government organizations like Cisr and Syneos Health are major conglomerate where we are placed. Still with lesser students we are not places that high and it's a shame because such a great university but still placements are in a way less as other branches have. 4-5 lakhs is what offered to Biotechnology students of IILM.

Students of 3rd and 4th year are eligible for placements. More than 150 companies offered 750+ Jobs. Almost 70% of the students in my branch has been placed. Highest package offered was 9PLA and the lowest was 3LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, PTC, Cleartrip, Jinko Contraction, GENX Consultancy Services, Airtel, CIty Union Bank, Emerson, Asix Bank and many more. Some of the students have taken the placement and some of them were invited to internship from 20k stipend to 40k stipend. If the student doesn't get college placement, he need to apply off campus for jobs. I will try to join a good job or start my own startup idea.
