Reputed college which enables you to achive your goals in life and ensures better future for girls.this university helps girls to become independent and prove themselves and make everyone proud.They ensure future placements to max no of girls on tha basis of their talent and hardwork.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is recently updated.Faculty is excellent, highly educated and talented.They Motivate students everyday. They try their best to use the latest technology for virtual classes, ask students again and again whether they are able to unserstand th topic or not.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunity varies each year according to the situation and the capability of students.Many big companies visit our college but take few students only but pay a good salary and other companies take many stusents but pay 4-4.5lakh/annum only.

College Events

Campus life is good. We have different councils and they have their fests and other activities. These councils inbuilds leadership and management qualities in girls and almost all the girls participate in one or the athor activity.Some of the councils are: Student council, IEEE, CSI, sports council, ECell and may more.

Fees and Financial Aid

Their is Kashmiri Migrant Quota in our college and their are many other scolarship as well.and the college people are very supportive.

Campus Life

We have a college library which has a lot of books not only related to academics but for research as well, comp labs, sports room,wifi, science lab,mechnics lab, electronics lab and much more. But the college needs a brush up(like the authority should paint it to make it look beautiful )

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is also good.Mess food is not at all good. All the facilities are provided, you can even have your own utensils and cook (either by using electricity or gas), wifi facility is their, tv hall(common room), watercoolers etc.The hostel also provides maid for cleaing the toilets, bathrooms,halls and rooms.In rooms only fans are provided due to which its hot during summers but the fees of hostel is very low so its okay.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
