Remarks

My college is first private engineering college in Punjab. My college life was very good and I still miss my college life and the management is pretty awesome and keep doing all the good work. May it become aspiration for every engineering aspirant to get into this college and get a very sucessful career.

Entrance Preview

I Took Punjab level CET (Common Entrance Exam), these days the college provides admission through AIEEE exam which happens countrywide. I got 65 percentile in the exam and I opted for this college because my cousin was alumni of this college and was placed in one of the reputed top level organizations.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is as per the the AICTE/PTU and I believe its kind of outdated and needs updation and the faculty is good and takes extra pain in helping the students at many levels and the couse curriculum mostly has theoretical subjects which Industry does not even use at all.

Internships Opportunities

The college did provide the Internship for month and they don't offer any internship and for the industrial internship they suggested and provided a list of good organizations and it wass upto the students if they want to do the internship in some organization not in the list they are allowed to do so but the organization has to be a good one. The companies did provide stipend of around 5 thousand per month to the candidates who cleared the interview.

Placement Experience

4.5

This is the best part about my college. They do provide some good placement opportunities and good MNC's visited the college in the last year and what I can remember is every student who wanted to work in companies was able to get placement. The Training and placement department is very good at its work and takes all the pain in getting all the students placed. I got placement from the campus recruitment.

College Events

5

The college celebrates a variety of events .The list is as below.1) Annual Panache 2) Debates on variety of topics 3) Tech fest 4) Sports events(Internal/University level/ National Level) 5) Annual Fair 6) Star Night 7) Fashion shows. The participation by the students was overwhelming and it was hard for the selection comittee to select the students for the events as the response rate is very high.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite good as a BE degree. Its very nominal and I paid around 70, 000 annually for 4 years and I have heard that many colleges charge much more than this. There was also not any extra fees like examination fee as some colleges charge. Also the securty was returned in time by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college did not provide any scholarship at the time we in college but now they do provide the scholarship to deserving candidates and who have scored good at school exams and they did provide loan facility but the interest rate was high and I heard some students tool the loan provided.

Campus Life

5

The campus life was fabulous as the situation of the college was very near to Chandigarh and the place is awesome for parties. We really enjoyed the college life and did party hard with participation in all the college events. The level of arrangements for the events was superb and showed the management skills of the students and the faculty together. It felt like international events and every event they made memorable.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities was average and there was 2 sharing and three sharing as well. The facility was provided to everybody and there was sufficient number of seats. PG's were not available nearby and it was about 12-13 kms away and the average rent was around 4 thousand rupees. The hostel charges were nominal and monthly charges including the mess was around 7 thousand. But the quality of food in mess was average.

Alumni/Alumna

There is strong network for the alumni and senior students and we still receive communication for the college events / fests. They still connect through social sites and also there are placements notifications on facebook/yahoo groups.

Exam Structure

The Exam structure is as per AICTE/PTU and I don't feel its hectic or chilled even. There were monthly tests as well as there were semester final exams and the lab structure was pretty good and was great for the students as a learning experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Niteland are excellent with students becoming eligible in the 7th semester in 2025 the placement rate reached about 92% with over 1000 job offers made top recruiters included Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Bpcl, Adani ,Infosys ,Deloitte and Tata Power. The highest btech package touched 52 LPA while the average to around 8.10 lakh per annum core branches averaged 7 to 8 lpa and cs it averaged 13 to 14 lpa. About 86 to 92% of eligible Btech students were placed across all branches. My post degree plan is to pursue a tech role at a reputed firm leveraging campus placement but many also opt for higher studies or startups thanks to the campus strong industry connexions and preparation for competitive roles.

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

the placements are decent, not bad. A cse graduate with a good knowledge of dsa can earn 12-15 lpa .with more hardwork u can earn even more.this year the max placement was around 41 lpa. but for core branches it is much less. if u are very good in your core then maybe u can get a good placement.

Placement is overall good, the companies gives heavy package to CSE and IT Fields, the avg package is around 13.35LPA and for our department is around 11LPA with 100% placement ratio in 2025.. And the most unexpected thing that happened in our college is that a student from instrudrial and production engineering got a package of 4.07 CR from off-campus..
