Remarks
I chose this institution as this was the only institution that was applicable according to my marks obtained in NEET. This college is well known for its facilities and well experienced faculty. Also have a well established hospital with sufficient number of patients and all the latest medical equipments required. The teachers and students have great interaction with each other and we feel right at home.
Course Curriculum Overview
For my batch onwards there have been several changes in the course curriculum. Our faculties are extremely experienced and well qualified from various prestigious medical institutions like JIPMER, AIMS and other government institutions as well. They make sure that we obtain all the necessary basic information that is required to become a successful doctor and we also have regular examinations which make us up to date with the current portions.
Placement Experience
Student that has graduated from our college has obtained job opportunities in most hospitals in the area or in Chennai. Our university make sure that we are well experienced and highly qualified as well as eligible enough to look after the patients and treat them. We are given intensive training at hospitals to make sure that we are capable of treating each and every disease in the hospital.
College Events
Every year our college hosts a cultural fest where students of every batch participate in it. There are several programs like singing, dancing and other activities. It is conducted in the form of a competition where judges are assigned to select winners. There are also other programs like children's day, teachers day, Independence Day, Freshers day among others. Unfortunately the auditorium is still under maintenance, so most of these programs take place either on a on a stage that has been set up or any other huge lecture hall.
Campus Life
Campus has a great infrastructure. We have gyms, playgrounds and other centres which helps us to remain physically fit. We also have a huge library with Internet connection and several books and journals for reference purposes. The labs are well equipped. There are over 20 labs which are well maintained and have the latest equipment required for the comfortable study of the student.
