Remarks

I was interested in NIFT since the beginning because I was interested in the arts and crafts. I had a creative end of mind and I thought that NIFT would help me to make my career a brighter one. NIFT is a pioneering institution and is very efficient as a university.

Course Curriculum Overview

So it was my first year and our curriculum is latest and very flexible. Being a first year student the exposure was limited but we interacted with a lot of veterans in the field. Their experience helped us a lot.

The Campus Placements provides a platform for the graduating students from variousdisciplines of the two years post graduate, and four years undergraduate programmesto realise their professional dreams and ambitionsand thus requires the keen and sustained participation of employerorganisations. The campus life experience (however small) was amazing. Being a government college, NIFT promotes celebration of all types of festivals be it Ganesh chaturthi or Durga Puja. It is an absolute joy being a part of these activities.

To become eligible for placement student can himself pick extra subjects in earlier semester and as soon as he completes them he is eligible generally after semester 6 they are eligible for on campus placement In 2025 About 600 comapies like microsoft amazon cognizant TCS and JP morgon visted vit and 1100 offers were given to students with 400+ dream offers of 7lpa and above In 2025 highest package was 70lpa and average was 11LPA for CSE department 90%+ placement rate was achieved in 2025 My plans after getting the degree is to do a corporate hob but not for more then 3 years that to just to get experience of the market and later do a startup.

My unbiased review of VIT Bhopal as a student studying here.

Placement Experience:

Placements depend on your CGPA and skills. Average is low, around 4-5 LPA but the original average package hasn't been disclosed yet, Students become eligible for placements by 5th semester but it depends on whether they have completed the required credits or not. Companies which visit are product and skill based companies, along with several other companies like TCS, Infosys, Zomato, CITI, Ford, etc. Highest package uptill now is 70 LPA. Percantage of students who have been placed till now is yet to be declared. My plan after the degree is to get placed in a company.
