Remarks

I have studied electronics for 2 years and wanted to pursue my career in the same.In mmcoe the labs are very well equipped and hence I felt I would get enough exposure in this institution.Also I wanted to go for an institute where sports are given importance.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus followed by the college is given by Pune University itself.The faculty is very good and helping.I had joined college late due to some issues but the teachers helped me to cope up.Our maths professor MR.Mansuri were exceptional.Noone can teach maths like him.We have specific workshops in the college to thrive our knowledge.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Placement Experience

The training and placement cell has its reach to us.We have lectures on soft skills once in a while.We also have workshops to boost our industrial knowledge.Some of the companies visiting us are Amazon,HCL, Infosys etc.

College Events

One the best event is Ensemble. During ensemble we have sports competitions,Annual Gathering,Annual championship and many more.Also academic prizes are given during the same.The whole college seem on fire suring events.Students participate in large nos.From fashion show to traditional day everything is worth it.

Campus Life

Wifi is available to hostel students only.Our labs are very well equipped and have able technicians.Practicals are conducted from time to time. Our library is big enough and a very silent place to study.Also the college hosts a very well managed playground.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
