Course Curriculum Overview

I have studied under many faculties but there is a maths teacher named as PK Mohanty, IITian of his time. He’s one of the best teacher I have ever came across my life. Talking about the course syllabus I think its litle bit outdated. There are many subject which are of no use for a computer science student. Yes, i got a good exposure to the tech world through seminars, zoom meetings etc.

Placement Experience

I dont know much about the recents placement due to corona pandemic but from the last two years it has been really good with almost every student getting placed. CSE And IT students get more opportunities than the rest of the branches. Many big companies like Del, intel, deloite, lenevo, Samsung, High radius, Wipro etc visit our campus. High radius have made a pact with our college to take around 1500 students every year with a minimum package of 5.5 lakhs. Its all upon you and your hardwork because no college can provide you with a job until you have that thing in you.

College Events

On a serious note my college is really into events. Many events are organised by the authority just to make the college famous. I don’t think there’s nothing bad in that because every college wants to get that name and fame. Many coding events are also organised by them with a winning price for the student. KIIT MUN is one of the best event, where students from all around the globe takes part. KIIT fest is also on the list. The college spends a lot of money in that.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, i have opted for hostels. They are build beautifully. Kp-7, hostel for fresher, is one of the biggest hostel in Asia. There are 2 and 3 bed rooms. Rooms size are compatible. Air conditioner rooms have joint washroom. For non air conditioner ones there are 3 washrooms on every floor. But the thing is hostel is compulsory for the first year students which are not from Bhubaneswar.

Hostel Fee: INR 188000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like this course and the advancement it's doing in present life . This course is quite demanding in present generation. The curriculum includes practical related to modern technology using living organisms for for human welfare for present and future generations. There are also seminars and webinars quite often . However the equipments are quite limited as the class strength is quite large due to which not all students get access to perform practical. Semester exam basically have 2 internals having a gap of two months each and then the final exam.the difficulty of exam is from easy to moderate.

The placement of our college pretty good for the higher branch like Cse , Ece , IT but for lower branches like ours is very low Only 5-10 students got placed last year from biotech . Whereas the placement percentage of Cse is around 90% . The highest package offered was 56 LPA , that is told us in Induction Program.

IIIT Naya Raipur has best campus!!

Placement Experience:

At IIIT Naya Raipur from 2022 where 74 out of 180 students were placed in 2025 the number increased to 127. So placements are surging and so are the numbers are also increasing heavily as well. 10 lakhs it is after 2025 and by next year I wish it to be 15 or more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this curriculum is because I've a keen interest in computer programming. The exams aren't really hard if you know the basics and the curriculum. The Faculties are well educated but low-key outdated. Speaking of curriculum, I feel like the curriculum is super outdated and needs to be changed.

Life at NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

Students from 6th semester are eligible for placements.Many companies like google , microsoft,hero , virtusa , and more.Highest package for this year is 62 lakh per annum and average package is 13 lakh per annum.The placement percentage for overall branches is 74%.I will try for a placement in campus placements from my 6th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took cse because it is ever green and demanding. Faculty student ratio is very good here. Every teacher here is done with Phd .many in IITs and some in NITs . Their teaching is good. It is very easy to pass exams here. We can Stuy a night before the exam and get descent score.

I have heard about Kalinga University after completing my 12th standard that it was a reputable college of chattisgarh the course I want to choose was also available here and it is verified from ugc so it's degree also has value in future. Great Life at Kalinga!

I applied for Amity University, Raipur but read some negative reviews and also they didn't provide online classes that's why I dropped the idea. I chose Kalinga University because counsellor explained everything nicely. No i didn't got any rejection from any college. Process is not so difficult. There is an entrance exam KALSEE.
