Remarks

Only good thing was that college administration was helpful. At least they listen to our problems. Bad thing was that hey only listen but never acted 100%. Hostel mess was very very bad. Due to that many strikes happened over the years. Also teachers were like student only. They were not like a professor which we think of.

Entrance Preview

I was selected in AIEEE. I got 118 marks in general category with this score I got Krupajal Engineering College in bput counselling. I had choosen that because at that time I had researched through internet and found that it was a good college for mechanical engineering. Already top colleges which was placed over mine college had got fulled.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Course is general but below average which I think it is common in many colleges of orissa and the faculty was worst because they are the students doing M.Tech.

Internships Opportunities

There were not a single company which college administration can claim that they had brought that. So there were not internship and so neither stipend.

Placement Experience

1

Like I said TCS came only and rest was off campus and for core branches like mine there was not a single company which came and even in off campus there was hardly 4 to 6 company and they took about 40 to 45 students from all over the orrisa.

College Events

1

I think only college festival was the annual day meet and never seen other than that. In that students from all the years perform activity like singing, dancing, modelling (almost with their girlsfriend or boyfriends) and college also used to bring some artist, politician or musicians.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes I think that I like hostels only which is the most hurt touching moment of my life due to my friends which I got there. Facilities was also good. Hostel fees was good but mess was the worst. The fees which they take for mess was like waste. I will give Hostel 8/10Mess 2/10.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only scholarship which I know was for OBC and SC/ST. Scholarship gives them whole college fees and may be hostel fees but I am not sure about hostel fees. I had not availed any scholarship because I am in a general quota.

Campus Life

3

Campus was the good only because of my friends. We used to play cricket in the college ground. All the kit was provided by the college. There is also a cafeteria (small one) and big ground or say garden type where we used to sit in the late evening. There were more male than female. The students generally comprises from Orissa,Bihar, Jharkhand. Extracurricular activities was not much to choose from but during annual meets there was tournament like cricket, cycling, sprinting etc. All the labs were good . Almost every year college organise a debate on robotic yes every year.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni was like a student. Even they sometimes get confused. Senior students was like a hell for first year students. After the students go in second year seniors are like abest friends who helps in almost every activity whether it is right or wrong. I will rateAlumni 6/10Senior students 9/10.

Students become eligible for placements from the third year itself. In this placement season more than 90 percent of the eligible students got placed in several companies. The highest and average are yet not known. Several companies visited the campus with prominent ones being Microsoft, Dell, Xerox, Flipkart and more including several startups. After getting a degree if I am able to land a job the ok otherwise I will start my preparation for the defence sector or civil services.
