Sandip Zende Patil's Review On KIT's College Of Engineering, Kolhapur

Need to improve syllabus and give more practical experience to students in those four years keeping their profession efficiency in mind. Now we are bit theoretical.

Based on 12th science marks I have gone through Central admission process. I was interested in Environment Engineering. This college has good reputation in University.

Three years I learnt basic civil engineering as well as Environment engineering. Last year I learnt separate subjects for Environment related theory.

I have joined summer training approved by college in one of the contracting firm in Waste water treatment. It was very good experience and gained knowledge in the treatment facilities.

Placement team was very helpful and got placed through campus interview in well established multinational consultancy firm named as MWH.

Annual gathering,sports activities,Paper presentation competition,Young Tarang,Tree plantation,Industrial visits,Rangoli competition,Pioneer 2K5 and various interclas activities etc.

Fee structure was not so expensive if you compare with facilities provided.

College life we have enjoyed most memorable moments those days. Missing those days a lot. Especially those sports events,annual gatherings,exam and hostel life.

Hostel facilities were very good. We struggled a bit for mess food but later we got quality food and breakfast facilities. Out hostel was one of the best in University.

We all batch mates are in good positions and Do have get together every year. This will help us to enjoy those days atleast once in year. Senior students helps me a lot to get good job switch.

Very well planned practical exams,internal,external orals,theoretical exams was not feel hectic.University exams were planned well as well. looking at the backlogs and fresh papers we got gaps to be prepare for those subjects.

Very good. CO-operative,technical sound and knowledgeable. Helped us lot to get good knowledge of vast area of Environment science. Really gained good knowledge of various fields in environment as well as industrial safety issues.
