Remarks

The college is one of the best colleges one can find in India to study and still have fun with studies.

Entrance Preview

I took KIITEE examination and got 2114 rank. This is among the best colleges of engineering in the eastern region and ranked A++.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE Branch cause of my fascination for computers and its science and the university has highly qualified teachers for the training part. The course curriculum is efficient and the lab sessions are awesome.

Internships Opportunities

You name any company and it was there in KIIT. A few names that weren't there were Microsoft,Goldman Sachs etc. Apart from these every other popular company was a part of the placement drive like SAp,HP etc. The packages ranged from 3 lakhs to 16 lakhs by a Japanese company Works Application.

Placement Experience

The placements were awesome with 100% placement season. The track record of KIIT University has always been awesome in placements. The Day 1 placements bagged upto 2500 placement offers in a single day.

College Events

The best place to have fun and learn. Education imparted tops all the colleges of eastern region and the students keep shining higher and higher to give it even a bigger name. The experienced and dedicated faculty help nurture the future minds into the right direction. Best of all you can always do your thing play,sing,dance,etc to make your name in the field and make the university proud. The fest Kritansh is a technical fest and a lot other events on quiz,games takes place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is around 10-12 lakhs. The fees is feasible given to the facilities being provided by the university for its students. This includes about 30000 for the hostel fees and 25000 for the mess fees.

The college offers scholarships to the top 3 rankers in each stream and also scholarships to the needy for the support.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are fantastic with good food with 24*7 wifi connectivity aquaguard for good drinking water,hygenic food,cafeterias etc.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is awesome and the seniors are real helpful. You get alumni meets every year in the city you live in. The best part is that the alumni keeps sending repeated mails about the job opportunities in their respective companies.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is not at all hectic. The exams are held in 2 sessions firstly a mid term exam of 40 marks and then a end session exam of 60 marks.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My first impression of the college I chose

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
