Remarks

College can improve as far as the drinking water facilities are concerned college shall also start unaided structure with AC facility.

Entrance Preview

I Passed my B.Com from lala college and on basis of graduation marks I secured admission in this college. The reason for doing LLB was to enhance my knowledge in field of litigation along side my Company Secretary ship.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Course is a three year programme which makes u study various civil and criminal laws prevailing in the country in detailthe examination is conducted by university of Mumbai and is recognized by Bar Council of India upon successful completion.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship with DAVE & COMPANY during the summer and I was offered 9000 for 2 months during my break between 1st and second year. The internship was basically civil suits including company law, arbitration and income tax matters.

Placement Experience

4.5

KC law college has in house placement cell which is one of the finest in Mumbaithe are affiliated with MUMBAI'S leading solicitors, advocates and firms and placement camp is organized during the final year.

College Events

5

The College Organizes various cultural social and legal events during the yearnotable speaker such as prominent lawyers, judges, socialists visit the college during the year to impart knowledge to the students. I have personally been part of all India Moot Competition,Blaze 2014 Legal client counselling,JRD Shroff Memorial Elocution,HPS Elocutions,75th Year Celebration Week various seminars.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is very responsible since college is aided by Govt. Its 7800 for 1st year 7400 for 2nd year and 7800 For third year which is very reasonable.

Campus Life

4

KC law college is one of the calmest college out here in Mumbai,The campus is shared with HR College of commerce and is always buzzing with younger students. Law students are generally either working with law firms or perusing other career options together with the study thus the campus is not occupied all the time. There is nice canteen on the ground floor which serves really good quality food and snacks. Library of college is one of the most well stocked in Mumbai and is well ventilated furnished and library staff is also pretty good. The gender ratio is about equal with girls slightly more than boys as far as our college is concerned there is been no gender discrimination spotted by me during my time In the college.

Hostel Facilities

4

The is no official college hostel but various nearby hostels can be used to accommodation during the academics one being PATIDAR Hostel marine lines fee of which is about 100000 per annum with lunch and dinner.

Exam Structure

The Exams are conducted twice in a year semester wise in MARCH and NOVEMBER by University Of Mumbai. The college is responsible for conducting internal examinations, vivas & project for the year which is necessary for eligibility in university exams.

Faculty

4.5

The Faculties have been pretty good till now I am still the second year. The principal Mrs Sunita Khariwal teaches family laws and extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter she has even authored a book on the same Mrs Kiran and Vice Principal Bindu Variath are also extremely helpful and guides the students in a very good manner. Miss Pooja teaches Trransfer of Property act and is one of the most practical teacher in town her illustrations on the topics have been nothing short of being phenomenal. So overall the faculties unlike other law colleges in Mumbai where lectures don't even take place is really really good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.
