Since this college has it's historical importance on the other hand it is also very well known reputed college in lucknow for girls. The faculty and the exposures you get here for improving your personality is worth appreciating for. And the other thing that attract the student is the campus of the college so beautiful and peaceful surrounded by trees and greeneries all over the campus.

Isabella thoburn college provides students a good exposures for activities, curriculum along with academics. This college not only focus on students academics but also on personality development by engaging them in extra curriculum activities. Their are different competitions and activities held after every few days by some departments that it makes students to get engaged in it. Even the faculties here are so experienced in their respective fields and so helpful. They try to always engage students in some or the other works related to studies every other day where students get to learn and have overall new experience. Even every department tries to held seminars once a month or twice so that students of respective field can attend it and learn new things from some experienced outsider or chief guest.

No I have not opted for any internship.

The palcements and jobs opportunities are quite good as their is a placement cell in the college which will guide you for placements once you contact them for your placements. Different companies visit for placements like Aditya birla group of companies, British Council etc. Interested students can apply as they want.

Their are two events which our college hold every year i. E. Aura- where all the college of city lucknow participate which ever college the invitations are send by our college. This college fest is of 2 or 3 days mainly with all kind of competitions and experienced judges in respective fields are invited to jusdge every competition. Rangmanch- this is also a event where only our college students participate in different events whichever they want.

Yes, our college provide scholarships to the meritous students who apply for the scholarship. The list of scholar students are released every year. But I don't remember exactly the names of the scholarships. But their are quite many scholarships available here.

The campus infrastructure is good. Their are labs like science labs and other departments labs according to students needs with all the equipments and all the necessary items required for the respective lab. The library here is have varities of books and so peaceful environment, their are even different magazines, newspapers, novels of all types, dictionaries, books related to each subjects the library is very big here. Sports facilities is not very up to the mark here. The campus have its basketball court and area for volleyball and other sports area as well very big like badminton court. You have to go to p. Ed department and ask for sports you want to play then you will be allowed to play. Even annual sports days are also held here.

If you opted for hostel you have to pay yearly fees of rs. 50000. And if you are 1st year student you have to share room with 2 more students total 3 students in one room. After you complete your 1st year you will be alloted new room with only 1 roommate i.e. In one room 2 students. In hostel you will not get any AC or Coller in every room but their is only one common hall for every students where AC is their and students can sit their till whenever they want. The food is also quite good here. You will only be allowed for outing on Saturday and Sunday.
