Nitesh Agarwal's Review On Kalinga Institute Of Industrial Technology - [KIIT], Bhubaneswar

I appeared for AI EEE and scored 86 %. During my initial stages of 10th Class i made up my mind for CS computer Science as i had a connect with the subject.

The courses which i opted was as i wanted it to be though the subjects of my 1st year was same with the other field of courses it would be changed from the 2nd year as said to us.

As because i am into 2nd year now Interships usually are provided after 3rd year mid or so. Though i am very excited for the internship. I have heard about the campus through my senior it is one of the finest and top campus in india as companies like Infosys,Capegemini,Ibm,TCS,Accenture etc come up for recruiting.

As said above i am currently into 2nd year but i know the placements which they provide are TCS,IBM,ACCENTURE,COGNIZANT,WIPRO etc packages starting from 12 lakhs.

We at college celebrate KIIT Fest 2015 a national level techno cultural fest its a huge hit as mass gathering happens around 10,000 students are up for the fest and have galla fun time of the life. It a GRAND event as celebs come on everyday till the 5 day fest. I personally enjoyed every bit of it.

For a Middle Class Guy like me the fee is a bit on the higher side its about Rs 30,000 per semester which includes everything my hostel and fooding.

Our College is offering Loan via SBI though i have not opted for the loan. Our college is also providing scholarships to the supreme candidates.

Though i was less on campus and more into classrooms i am enjoying the life now we have a wifi enabled campus and a huge campus it would take a day to roam around the full round of college. We had extra curicular activities like Swimming,Gyming,Volleyball,Basketball,Ice skating and Robotics. All in all it was a wonderful experience. Our lab was the higlight as it is equipped by high end equipments.

Hostel is of nice Quality as i am puttung in an AC Rooms. Its well furnished and organised. Food is though of not that good quality.

Senior students are very friendly and helpful. Though i didnot had interaction with my alumni. Among the seniour Students there is this guy named Anit Pandey He is placed in TCS he has helped me and guided me as i was a fresher. I look upto him.

I would say it a mix it was neither very much hectic nor too chilled out types. It is all about managing everything. Exams and Labs would be alternate days always.

The faculty we are having are highly educated and very supportive which helps us in everyway.
