Remarks

I passed my 12 in commerce stream then i chose to persue my studies in business field. Then after reserching i chose Dav college jalandhar and took admission in b. com. I opter this course as I had my interst in business field

Course Curriculum Overview

As per my perspective, the sytem is so old. No industrial experince i ever had in my whole course The system is like just read books and go to exam hall Write as much as you want Marks depends on Number of sheets you filled

Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

I applied so many jobs after graduated from dav college jalandhar punjab Still didnt get any response Less wage rates Not even good jobs Its like wastage of money on bcom graduation I totally confused

Campus life is so so boring Students dont even car about studies Bunk classes evertime Roaming in the whole college. Chilling fun Going to canteen evertime College fights Less care about rules and all

I dont even like campus infrastructure. Its like so old kind buildings Heated classrooms Fans and even not good electric suplies Old tables where students sit and study And same other kind of stuf overall

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty,their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

True experience of a SLIET Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.
