Remarks

The college is situated at a crucial location, i.e. Bhubaneswar which is the capital of Odisha. Many companies come to Bhubaneswar for recruitment although the salary and other benefits are comparatively less than other states.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is governed by BPUT. Although it is good and not the worst there are a few subjects which need to be repositioned according to a good design method. Faculties are constantly changing but those who stay are great enough if you know how to build and ask the correct questions. They know who is fooling around and who is not.

Placement Experience

Placement department is not so great. But it is not *ONLY* due to them. A significant percentage of the students are ill equipped to the industry which they can't teach in 4th year. Consequently everyone suffers due to these decisions. However, they are supportive of your stance if you are good enough to help them out. A few companies offer 10 LPA plus jobs but they are not interested in core subjects and knowledge. They revolve around sales and marketing. Yes I am saying BYJU's.

College Events

Campus life is almost nonexistent, except during tech fest and sports events. The tech fest is the only time when you are properly introduced with your seniors in a good manner. Participation from local colleges happen too for some seminars and events.

Campus Life

Our campus structure is vast yet most of it is now rented or left unutilized. The labs are decently equipped and the lab assistant do help out. The CSE lab has been renovated with new systems and linked with LAN.

Placement Experience:

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple. I did apply for VSSUT Burla but could not clear the cutoff. Also i would like to add on this that i did a better job in choosing the seat here .
