Remarks

I opted for this university because I like the infrastructure of the college and it's close to my home, as i am home sick which made it the best choice for me. Though the placement is not that good but the college have many active sports teams which made me ignore about the placements as i am a state level football player.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is genuine in our college. Its like the other Engineering colleges as I had conversation with my friends from other Engineering Institutes. I have just completed my 1st year here so I am not sure about the industrial exposures but i have heard from my seniors about the industrial training which our college provides to each and every individuals. From my side i like Prof. S. Majhi sir he's like a mentor to me. He guides us to all the practical applications of our studies and tell us about all the different job opportunities we have after completion of our B.Tech Degree.

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

I have only been here for last 1 year and also my 6months were just vacations because of corona virus so I don't know about it much.

College Events

The campus life over here is very wonderful. We have fest two times in a year in each semesters(odd and even) from which one is technical fest and the other is cultural fest. Our college provides 60 lakh in total for both the fests and we even have many sponsors like red bull, laziz pizza KTM and many others.

Campus Life

We have have a sports complex where we have table tennis board, carrom board and different types of other board games and a games room where we can play these games. We also have badminton court, footsal court, basketball court, football field, lawn tennis field. We are provided with lan facility throughout our campus like in our hostel rooms, class rooms and our library. Our library is fully digitalised and we need a special library card which is scanned in the entrace by a automated machine to enter the library which keeps note of each and everyone who enters the library.

Hostel Facilities

Yes i have opted for hostel facility. We have sharing rooms, like two people in a room. We have 4 hostels here. 3 for boys and 1 for girls. Our hostels have 24x7 lan facilities and hot water supplies.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

I am a newly added student in this class so I don't know anything.About course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is well and OK. The frequency and timing of the exam is also good. Exams are held in the end of the year.

Placement Experience:

The college holds a high placement rate with a significant percentage of Students security jobs before graduation. The college attracts reputed companies e.g. google ,microsoft , bajaj, oracle,barclays , grow ,etc. for campus placement including top multinational corporations and leading firms in various sectors . Total 164 offers were made by 59 companies during last academic year(2022-23). In addition, IIT Guwahati students have already received as many as 214 pre placement offers during the academic year 2023-24. The highest package this year is 2.05 crore per annum. Placement rate is 72%. My plan is to get a good pre placement offers before my graduation .

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college are very good. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . The unplaced students can go further studies like MS ,MTECH . The companies visited our college are atlassian ,Amazon,AWS ,optum, Myntra ,UBS ,Amadeus ,oracle ,sap labs ,mathworks ,Hpcl ,Bpcl,HUL, Goldman Sachs and many startups . The highest package offered by AWS 52 LPA.The average package is 10,00,000 to 12,00,000 for cse and it varies for different branches

Placement Experience:

The placements in our campus are good and if we apply for the placements then our cgpa must be 8 or above then only we have chance to apply for all the companies. If we can't get the placements in college thenwe have to try at off campus and other companies.. From 6th or 7th semester students can apply for the placements.and it will continue upto 8th semester. It is intrest of the students. There are many companies like google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Wipro, cognizant and TCS ect. Each and every company will offer many students based on the ideas and talent of the students based on their test and interviews. Highest package upto now is it is 1crore per anum and average package will 14 to 15 lakhs. 80 to 85 percent students are get placed.. After getting degree to get a good and settle in life.

I have just completed my schooling. It's but obvious that studying somewhere else from your hometown is exciting. As per my research, the faculty over here implements practical strategies into your studies that really made me choose AIT. The admission process was very smooth. They asked for certain documents that I have submitted and then pretty much went simple. It was very smoothly conducted by the teachers and the student volunteers.
